The nacho tortilla chips were stale…

I got a chicken burrito, the meat had a bad aftertaste. I took a few bites and the taste of old meat was on my breath the rest of the day. The burrito wasn't closed all the way so it came undone on the bottom, it was spilling everywhere and just messy. I probably won't go back.

Fave stop in Greektown . A must go if you want a quick bite or take a friend to eat in while exploring the city. Recommend the weekly specials since they always come with any FREE drink. Best Horchata and very juicy steak/pastore/beef tacos in Chicagoland area. If you havent been to a TBK for your go-to burrito, then your missing out...

Vegetarian options: You can literally replace anything here on the menu that has meat for a vegetarion option. Except for the Flautas and Tamales.

Good customer service and communication redd had fixed my delivery order when wasn’t given all what I order at first.

The worst Mexican food I've ever have. And I'm an incredibly non-picky eater, am okay with 99% of restaurant food. Maybe the fact that it's a chain leads the food to be bland and not fresh somehow

I ordered two super king steak burritos. I asked specifically for only cheese cilantro and onions. They forgot the cilantro.
Each burrito consisted of about 30% fat and the steak was extremely chewy. I’ll eat elsewhere next time.

i have been to this place plenty of times and it seems like the food is always going from ok to bad to worse and it feels like they hit rock bottom this time. please be sure to eat your food EXACTLY when you get it because once it is lukewarm or cold the flavor severely diminishes which is disappointing.

i got the chilaquiles and while they were yummy, i think i would have been better off not ordering them with steak (this is on me and i acknowledge that) since it was somewhat tough and kind of weird in taste.

the service here is always great though so there are no complaints about that on my part. just be careful with what you order!

It's my pleasure to review another Taco Burrito King location, last time in Des Plaines, Illinois...this time downtown Chi. For just $15, including a decent tip, I received a substantial meal. I got the Torta plate this time. The torta was as big as a burrito, packed with plenty of protein and trimmings, and included a full dinner. I even got some chips and pico de gallo. I'm very satisfied—everything was delicious, just like always. Well worth it!

I recently visited this location after attending a function and wanted to grab something for later. I ordered three chicken tacos and three steak tacos. I was called over to the counter pick up my order, and the cashier said the wrong number. I showed him my receipt with the order number and told him what ordered. The order he tried to give me had a drink included, which I did not order. He looked at the bag (nothing was on it to verify if the order was mine or not) and he insisted it was mine. The container was heavy so I assumed he was correct. I will take an L for not checking myself, but I went home to see the order was incorrect. Three steak tacos with rice and refried beans were in the container, no chicken tacos. I called back and explained the situation. I was told that the person who gave me the incorrect order was “new and didn’t know what to do…”. He also said I could come back to have the correct order but I did not live close. Since I paid with a card, the person I spoke with (Caesar) took my name and number to let me know the manager would call me for the refund of the three tacos. Nothing has happened. Again, I should have checked the order myself but we also need our food establishments to ensure when issues arise, they follow through and take responsibility of their own mishaps as well. I’ve wanted to check out TBK Greektown for quite some time and this one experience has let me down and I won’t return.
