I came for my birthday and I run late I called them and they responded to me beautiful the food was good and the services was on point the waiter that assisted us was so cool . Looking forward for more experience

We hit heavy traffic and arrived well past our reservation time, but the staff assured us our table would be held for the evening—and they honored that promise. We genuinely enjoyed the food, and our server was attentive, warm, and professional. We also loved being able to step out onto the terrace for drinks and the view; it was absolutely beautiful. The reason for the lower rating is the dress code. The website clearly states “business casual & chic casual — we may turn guests away,” and this was also reiterated in the confirmation email. I was surprised, however, to see guests in hoodies and jeans when we arrived. I don't personally mind a relaxed dress code, but it was confusing to see such strict messaging not enforced in practice. At this price point—especially with water costing $60 alone—there is an expectation of a more consistently upscale atmosphere. It's a lovely place with great service and food, but the mixed signals around dress code were disappointing.

The server didn't follow the instructions about the food I ordered and charged extra for things I didn't asked. Over all it was a good experience just a bit more attention to details given the place and price.

We love dining at Terrace 16 whenever we stay at the Trump, and this visit for brunch was no exception. We were seated at a wonderful table by the window with a beautiful view, and our server was both attentive and personable — the perfect balance of professional and friendly. As always, the food hit just right — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. It's one of those spots that never disappoints and always makes our stay even more enjoyable.

Myself and my girlfriend visited the Terrace 16 expecting a nice romantic evening together on our last night in Chicago. The service was poor form the onset with slow service with both drinks and food. Our starters were nice however our main course was cold. At this stage we had waited so long for our food we didn't feel like eating. The restaurant was also very cold. It is such a disappointment for a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. Very disappointed to say the least.

We we didn't actually eat so I'm basing my good rating on being neutral. I have no reason to believe that it isn't good. The cocktail was tasty, but the view is why you go to Terrace 16!!

there was a wedding on half the space, so we had to wait for a table. The service was terribly slow, maybe because of the wedding cocktail reception. It was lovely to be outside and the view is amazing, but there were no security available or watching to stop people from coming into the dining area to take photos. There is space at the cocktail area for photos, guests did not need to interrupt our dinner to take photos of the skyline!
