Our reservation was for 3:15. We sat down and it was as if we were invisible for about 15 minutes. When the server finally came, she asked us if we wanted food or just drinks. We thought it was a weird question but we said we wanted food too. She left to go get what we thought was the menus but never came back. We waited about another 10 minutes and decided to ask someone else to get us menus. Finally we ordered our food and didn't get our food until after 5pm. I can't say that it was really busy in there because it wasn't. Maybe they were short staffed? After we finally ate, we stood up to go out onto the terrace again one last time and all of a sudden, we were surrounded with servers ready to give us a hand and make sure we paid the bill! The hostess was amazing, she did what she could to help, but the service was horrible. The food was underwhelming and maybe if the service was better we could justify spending so much on it. Overall, not worth it and I wouldn't recommend at all. We would've absolutely had a better experience anywhere else but Terrace 16.

We took a few pictures outside and check back in with the hostess because it had been 30min and still not seated. We were told a table still was not ready. We stood right by the hostess stand and finally was seated shortly after. Eventually drink orders were taken from our server. 15min later still no drinks but our server came over and asked if we wanted to put a food order in. Never explained the menu or asked if we had any questions. At that point we decided to get the check for our drinks and have dinner elsewhere. The food is extremely overpriced for the lack of service at this place.
Everything about this was very good. From entering the building, we were escorted to the elevator bank and shown the way to the restaurant. Everyone we encountered was very friendly, and the food was great. My only issue was that the wait staff was not as attentive as I would have liked. Things like refilling our cups when they are getting low. Outside of this, everything was great. They even remembered my daughter's name and said goodbye to her when we left.
I was celebrating my wife's birthday. When they brought out our food, my plate was missing the meat portion of my meal. I looked around for the server but couldn't find him. Ten minutes went by and he was nowhere to be seen . Around another 5 min went by and nothing . Finally another server saw that I was in distressed and came over for assistance. She didn't seem to find the waiter. The manager came over and took the plate back . At this point , another 10 minutes went by until I finally received my plate . My wife had already finished her meal by this time . I started eating and the server finally showed up . Twice I needed to refill my water and he was nowhere to be seen . I wasn't able to eat with my wife and had such a horrible experience. To top things off , the gratuity was included in the bill . The server was rewarded for terrible service. I'll be sure not ever come here again. They ruined a simple meal celebration

Great experience from Mark & Celeste. A first timer into Chicago and they surely didn't disappoint. I had the seafood tower since they had sold out of the Branzino and it was absolutely delicious. Paired with a few wines and for starters a margarita since it's was Cinco de Mayo. The views were epic! Thank you to The Team.
Brilliant night at terrace 16. Food and drink was excellent. Fantastic place for a special occasion and the view was even better with a storm. Staff were all very friendly and service was great. Highly recommend sharing board.
Beautiful restaurant, amazing service and the most delicious food and drinks. The views here are also gorgeous. The whole vibe of the place was great. Absolutely loved everything about this place. Highly recommend.

Celebrated my wife's birthday dinner here and it was plain awesome. The ambience overlooking downtown Chicago is amazing; food is great and sumptuous; we had a very attentive and honest. This restaurant is a must try and is highly recommended!

Classy restaurant with a beautiful sunset at dinner. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was fabulous. Tip of the hat to our waiter Alex who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We dined inside as it was too cold to eat outside but were able to walk outside as the sunset.
Cant say anything bad at all! From the ambience, service and food! Five Star! Deserving, especially all the staff, host, busser, server and manager! Everything falls in line to my expectations. Mr Paran was making sure experience was met.

Amazing view, that's it. I would not rate this place a 3 star, food is absent flavor and enthusiasm. Rules are misleading, stating attire requirement to arrive being the odd man out. Fail at the empath level.
I just wanted to share something with you, and perhaps you could take it into consideration for next time. It was not indicated anywhere that the Easter egg hunt for children would only last until 1:00 PM. This was not mentioned in the advertising, during the booking process, or even when you informed me that due to a change in weather, the patio would be closed. I specifically inquired about the Easter activities - the egg hunt and the train ride, emphasizing that these were important to us, regardless of whether they were held indoors or outdoors. You confirmed that all activities would take place indoors, but did not mention that there would be no egg hunt during our scheduled time (we had table at 2pm). This oversight was slightly disappointing for both my child and me. Overall, everything else was wonderful. The gentleman was very kind and arranged for our child to go on the train ride twice.
