When I walked into Terry's place, I saw 3 guys waiting for their food. 1. I was hesitant to go in late at night after 10 pm 2. A female 3. had to use the atm (this place only accepts cash)
While using the atm, I noticed one guy rolling blunt-crushing up pills into it, The guy finally received his food and left. Another thing I noticed upon entering the restaurant was a strong heavy chemical odor, so strong you could not smell food being cooked in the place. I guess it had been sprayed for bugs.
Since it's been more than 15 years since I came to this place, was unfamiliar with the menu and the online menu was an old menu. Not ready to order yet stood aside to decide what wanted to eat.
However, I guess I still was taking too long to order as other people started to come in.
I still wasn't ready so the guy behind the counter proceeded to take other orders, one of the workers, dog whistled at me I was looking at him as he was looking at me...I asked if he had whistled at me, lying right to my face, He said No, then his friend started whistling behind my back!
I appreciate it that incident probably saved me from food poisoning, but I decided not to order. Will not go back.

I remember when this used to be a sit in restaurant. Been going to this restaurant for a long time. They have the best Italian beefs, fries and hotdogs. Best In Chicago.

I just called to tell the restaurant my milkshake was wrong. Saul told me I couldn't get another milkshake after i told him I was too far to bring the one Tony got wrong! He told me Tony was gone and if I came back tonight I needed to have $3.80. So not only was it wrong but you know what size I got and I have to pay for a new one! Thanks Saul and Tony after coming there often for over 10 years and having minor mistakes this is the last straw! In a prominently black neighborhood with plenty of growing business, I wish you the best! I will not waste my time anymore! The new black owned seafood place was closed I know you all won't last any much longer as in not the entire 2024!

Been coming here about 20 years or more lbs since I was little my family always came here. Born & raised on the west side, I moved & still make my way to Terry’s. Good food, multiple options on the menu & always fresh. just make sure you got your cash ready, they don’t take card & every time I ask when will they, it don’t sound like they ever intent to lol

This is one of the biggest calzone I have ever had. The flavor of the sauce was on point and had plenty of it as well as cheese. One thing I wish they would have done was put just a little more veggies in there, however everything was good. Definitely going back for another
