Chicken gently simmered in onions, ginger, garlic, berbere and kibbe, korerima, methi and ajwan for hours to create a delightful stew. Served with hard boiled egg. Spicy.

Sauteed chicken breast spiced with ginger, onion, garlic, tomato, jalapeño, Ethiopian spices, and kibbe (Ethiopian butter).
26. Asa Leb-Leb
Tesfa special. Filets of catfish marinated and cooked in canola oil, tomato, jalapeno, garlic, ginger, onions and Ethiopian spices.

Filets of catfish mixed with onion, tomato, jalapeno, garlic, ginger, and Ethiopian spices cooked in canola oil.

I just love Tesfa and I was reminded of that tonight. I missed them being in uptown because it was so convenient. We've always had an amazing time when we dine here in uptown- you can feel the home cooking.

There new location is beautiful, spacious, modern and has a full bar.

We ordered sambusas for appetizers and it's so fire!! And for our entree- we did the platter for 2, with two meats and 3 veggies: zil zil tibs, doro wot, red...

I ordered the 4pc Sambusa: chicken, lentils, spinach, and beef. The meat was flavorful, tender, and there was not one piece of fat in my meat. The puff pastry was soft and buttery. I will definitely order this again!

One of the best Ethiopian restaurants we have found in our travels. 5 stars all the way. Excellent, kind servers, beautiful restaurant, and incredible food & flavors served hot and freshly made. We will be back!
