Delicious Italian food. Chef Pasqual Di Diana has done an amazing job creating an amazing, authentic Italian food. This is a must visit place. The food, the view and the staff makes this restaurant one of the best in town. You have to try the desert.
Best authentic Italian food in Chicago.

OMG amazing!!! There’s not enough room for me to describe it. You have to go yourself. You have to see the city at night. You have to see it during the day you got to just go. I had the most incredible time. I went two times in one week first to go watch incredible people, DJ and a second time for my nieces 30th birthday both times I had a blast

My fiance and I wanted to have a post dinner beer here because the DJ drew us in. It’s definitely loud and lively, which isn’t why I’m only giving 1 star. Views are great, but I was definitely overcharged for 2 beers and a shot…$40+ for two $7 coronas and what I assume was about a $10 shot (it was Malort, ain’t no way it was more than $20?!) emailed customer service and nothing. I always anticipate paying a bit more for these types of places of course but not that for what we ordered. Also if it was grat, the bartender did not tell us but instead handed us the POS with tip options. And no option for a receipt. Ridiculous. Better options in the city to spend your money at.

Bizarre and Annoying Experience at Tetto
My recent visit to Tetto was one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had. What started as a rooftop dinner quickly devolved into a series of odd interruptions that completely ruined the evening.
First, and most bizarrely, a man came up to our table, uninvited, to take photos of us while we were in the middle of a conversation. He directed us to pose and took about 10 photos, then returned a few minutes later trying to sell the photos to us. It was a completely random and unwelcome interruption, and the fact that the restaurant seems to allow this is baffling. We also saw another person walking around selling Italian ice, which made the whole place feel less like a restaurant and more like a carnival.
On top of that, the atmosphere was chaotic. For a Sunday dinner, the place was extremely loud with a DJ and a smoke machine. This wasn't mentioned anywhere online and made it difficult to even have a conversation. The service was also incredibly slow; it took a full 30 minutes just to get a glass of water after we were seated. Asked for a server just to have our own server tell us our server will be right with us, then came back herself later. Felt like I was an annoyance the entire time to the entire staff. They should switch to self ordering and checkout to avoid this entire mess. Place also has automatic 20% gratuity built in that no one calls out. The food was also extremely mediocre. My soda was flat when it came out.
Overall, the entire experience was just weird and annoying. I’ve never even seen this happen at any establishment, abroad or domestic. Honestly terrible and ruined what was supposed to be a nice meal. The unprofessional atmosphere and constant interruptions made it impossible to enjoy our time. I definitely will not be returning.

I’ve never been so disappointed in a meal at a restaurant before. Gnocchi was raw, tomato sauce tasted old and tangy, pizza was too sweet, eggplant parm was slimy. i’m a lightweight who had 3 hugo spritzes and didn’t feel a thing. i work in the service industry so i always grant grace but this was genuinely such a terrible experience for the amount our group paid. our sweet server and the views were the only things that saved this experience at all.

Bad service and they lie about the bill, causing to be charged extra after you leave.

The staff was nice the food options were weird but the pizza was oddly okay. The pizza also seem to have lunch meat in it the claimed to be a special meat from Italy . The drinks (I had a Long Island) are good but $15 for one and shots are $15 I attach a photo of the glass size for the Long Island and the amount of liquor for the shot . Also the music is very odd kinda disco with old school mixed in but not in a good way. Still a beautiful view of the city.
The rice balls come in threes and they are so good .

So… I don’t even know where to start… it was supposed to be an event at a night club. We came at 10pm and party was ending at midnight. Entry fee was 60$ per person and we didn’t even get a chance to dance. Even though it’s a rooftop they said smoking isn’t allowed. When we wanted to go outside to smoke, they said there is no re-entry. So when my friend lit up a cigarette, security guard totally ruined the whole experience!!! He started pushing me out of the bar even though I wasn’t even smoking. Manager was pointing a flashlight at me and another girl manager was absolutely disrespectful! As a customer who didn’t brake law, who was not intoxicated, did not disrespect no one and did not disturb nobody I was treated totally horrible!!! Just do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else!

A 40-minute wait. The drink I ordered was mango, and it didn't taste good. Upon receiving our table, we were informed that the kitchen would be closing soon. If you're looking for a place with music and a nice view, this is it! But the drinks weren't to my liking.

Tried calling to check wait times and no there was no answer, I called several times and finally decided to make the drive just to find out there was a private event. NO WHERE did it say it was closed for a private event. Management could do us a favor and post it on the website

Came here on a Saturday but had to leave right away because of some “private event”. There was no mention of it in Tetto’s website or Insta account. Do yourself a favor when you decide to go, call first prior to coming.
Better than I remember! Went there last night. And the food, thanks to Trattoria RNB has elevated big time. The views are some of the best. This is a rooftop you can’t miss this summer.

We enjoyed the rooftop for drinks after lunch at Tabu. Several people ordered the pizza, so I'd be interested to check it out next time.
What we had:
- Spa Day - it had a bit of a pickle flavor which I didn't expect nor love.
- Mezcal marg (not on Menu but was good)
- Mango Calrissian - it was pretty good
