Great lunch! Had the meatball appetizer, shrimp with peppers and avocado and great brussel sprouts. We all had the moutainous double patty cheeseburgers, which were great!! Service was very good....we will be back..

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner. The food and service was amazing. The Happy Hour Menu and Regular menu was amazing. Recommend the Old Fashion.

**Christmas Day reservation** When we arrived at the 101, we were seated upstairs on the 20th floor instead of in the restaurant on the street level. The 20th floor is the Marriott Residence Inn lobby, and the restaurant feels like a hotel lobby restaurant. The table was not set, and was also wobbly. While the servers were very pleasant, service was slow. We waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food, and were not given utensils or individual plates when our appetizers came out. There was a mix up with our food and it tasted like it had been sitting until a heat lamp for a while. I'm pretty sure that they were understaffed, and we were told that the food had to be brought up from the ground floor which is why it took so long. It was a disappointing Christmas experience. Maybe the rooftop bar area is nice in the summer, but we won't be back.

Our dinner at The 101 Bar & Grill was excellent. Our waitress was great and gave us suggestions on what to order. Would definitely go back !!

We had the lamb and short ribs. They were both made to perfection! How they could have been any better is beyond me, and I was a head chef for seven years! Grandma's gnocchi was great as well! And, so much food we could not eat it all.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We ended up picking it, wanting a rooftop dining experience that wasn’t available at the time because of season. But we were pleasantly surprised because service food was exquisite. I really feel like the cuisine was top notch. Had shrimp appetizer and lobster bisque along with lamp chips and salmon. I had an espresso martini that was out of this world ended up viewing the rooftop bar that is coming soon and we were able to enjoy a lovely cocktail on the 20th floor in the lobby. Highly recommend this place for any occasion. Made our night.

Very nice atmosphere. Tables are not too close so you can talk without shouting. Menu has limited items for dinner. I wish there were more selections.
We just split some really filling appetizers, bruschetta and steak sliders. Really delicious. Great service. Not expensive.

The 101 Rooftop is a great place to take visitors or guests. It has spanning views of downtown Chicago and an extensive cocktail list. I highly recommend for tourists in the area or locals who want a good not over crowded rooftop to enjoy. The service was phenomenal, we did drinks upstairs and then had dinner in the main dining room. Both of our waiters were attentive and knowledgeable. I had the steak and my boyfriend had the lamb, both were delicious and very well prepared. We cant wait to return!

What a quaint and lovely rooftop. The westher was perfect to enjoy brunch here. The omelet was made perfectly and flavored well, which comes with potatoes. You really dont need more than an entree as its quite filling. Others had a burger, Cesar salad, eggs Benedict and they all finished their meals as well. The service was pretty good until the tab came. Our server seemed overwhelmed with placing certain items on certain tabs and it was noticeable. Cant knock him for it but maybe be less transparent.
