I never knew this place existed for years considering I live in the city. It's part of the EMC2 hotel (boutique) in the busy area of Streeterville. I dined with my cousin on a busy Saturday night; it was packed with tourists staying at the hotel. We liked the ambiance with the modern decor that grazed the high ceilings. They have a nice bar too. When I checked in, the hostess wasn't around so one of the servers was gracious enough to sit me at our table. Food was great as well as the service; we had a big portion of the Beet salad that was split into two by our server, Steve. We already felt full with the salad & the Burrata alone but we managed to order our mains. Bottom line, I recommend this place; Chicago locals should check it out.
Somewhat limited menu but the food was good and there was even a jazz Trio playing - a bonus.
I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The jazz trio was a great addition! Our server started out really strong, but the service became worse over the course of the meal. Our water was never refilled once. I was not asked if I wanted another cocktail, and I had to ask him in passing for a dessert menu and for our check. There were 2 very large tables and from what I saw only our server and maybe one other, so I think being understaffed may have contributed to our not being a priority. The Orecchiette pasta was very good. My friend and I were very disappointed that the short rib ravioli was unavailable. The Olive Oil Cake was delicious, and our server did comp that for us, which was nice. And, having valet parking is such a convenience.
The service was impeccable! Wine was excellent, ravioli is so delicious!! Even the Tiramisu was excellent!! We'll add to our list of places we enjoy!
The place was wonderful. The ambiance, the service, and the food were all top notch! Our server was super attentive without being invasive. It was just such a pleasant experience that we are looking forward to going back.
Truly amazing food!! The physical site and decor made it so special but with an air of simple elegance! We had the duck appetizer- amazing presentation, flavor and the duck melted in our mouths. The beet/feta/arugula salad was perfect. It could be a main entree salad with warm pita bread... The entree's while very tasty could have been served hot. They were warm, like they sat for awhile prior to delivery to our table. The plate presentation and portion size were wonderfully on point! Dessert was the tiramisu 🥰🤩❤️!! The texture of the creamed filling was exquisite. All in all a wonderful treat!
A very unique atmosphere with very tasty food! Drinks are great.

The Albert is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. You have to try the olive oil cake. It's amazing! I enjoy coming here.
Wonderful staff and the food was exquisite. Highly recommend for a great place to dine in Chicago
food was good! but the restaurant week menu was not the same as it was online which was confusing and a bit disappointing. service was a bit slow as well despite the fact that it was pretty empty during our reservation.

The broiled artichokes are delicious ! I'm not sure that I like their “take” on spaghetti tho... I will try one of their other pastas next time. The bartender made some delicious “dry” margaritas!
Was expecting brunchissimo as advertised on their website but were only offering breakfast.
We went exclusively for the brunch that they have on their website, listed that it's available every Saturday and Sunday. When we got there there was no brunch, only the breakfast menu. It was disappointing.
We had a amazing time on New Year's eve. Everything was top notch - the food, service, ambience. The highlight was meeting chef Chiappetti. He was kind and generous taking the time to talk to you. He even brought up his signature olive oil cake to try. And it was delicious!
I am very sad that it was the first and last time we saw him as he unexpectedly passed away a day later. Such a tremendous loss!
We will be going to the Albert for Valentine's day and will raise a glass to the chef.

Horrible brunch and the service was poor. We ordered mimosas and never received them. The waitress brought coffee for my wife but not me. Eventually brought me coffee after we were almost finished. Felt like we were an after thought and the food certainly was. We left and could not have been more disappointed with this experience. Will never go there again.
