I never knew this place existed for years considering I live in the city. It's part of the EMC2 hotel (boutique) in the busy area of Streeterville. I dined with my cousin on a busy Saturday night; it was packed with tourists staying at the hotel. We liked the ambiance with the modern decor that grazed the high ceilings. They have a nice bar too. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The jazz trio was a great addition! Our server started out really strong, but the service became worse over the course of the meal. Our water was never refilled once. I was not asked if I wanted another cocktail, and I had to ask him in passing for a dessert menu and for our check. There were 2 very large tables and from what I saw only our server and maybe one other, so I think being understaffed may have contributed to our not being a...
The place was wonderful. The ambiance, the service, and the food were all top notch! Our server was super attentive without being invasive. It was just such a pleasant experience that we are looking forward to going back.
