Outside is great! Inside is not. Bar is nice but seating and decor not comfy or attractive. Would be so much better if they’d made it a warm, cozy neighborhood spot with booths and low seating.

The Chili Palmer burger and the Garlic Honey Wings were GREAT! With that said, I am giving it 3 stars for two reasons. One, the bread on all 3 burgers were ordered was HARD and tasteless. Second, the Jake + Elwood and Thunderdome were underwhelming. The server was really attentive and friendly.

Outdoor patio is ideal--trees, overhead lights, off the street. Burgers and beer great. The spicy peppers and bacon one was on point.
Service struggled - we were told a table was ready but then it turned into 15 min wait. Were sat with no menus (we wound up taking them from nearby uncleared tables). No server until we asked. Had to ask for water. Server took our order and said they were doing us a favor because the other server was busy... but we never met another server. So service experience was poor, but individual staff were helpful and trying, so it may have been a bad night.
Indoor noise was very very loud from average conversation and TVs. Needs a sound noise suppression. Wouldn't want to sit inside.

Everytime I fly in to Chicago I always make it a point to go to bad apple. Thew were probably the first few times when nobody was there for us. The Lincoln park location is so sad. Not going there anymore.

I called yesterday to see if they were able to play the Women’s Rugby World Cup and I can’t say enough great things about how this was handled. I’ve had a hard time finding spots to play Women’s Rugby and many just say yes only to show up and they can’t play it. The owner did the research he needed, called me back and confirmed they could play it. Our server Miles was attentive and kind, food was great and this is just the kind of neighborhood spot you want to find yourself in!
Laid back local joint for burgers and beer. Very pet friendly and nice seating both in the open patio and inside. Prices are reasonable and easy to walk to.

Wonderful place to sit in the courtyard and enjoy a delicious meal. Great selection of beer on tap, quality burgers for a reasonable price. Beyond the Thunderdome tastes as impressive as it looks and the Jake and Elwood is outstanding. Everything is made in house - even the ketchup! YUM! Order the High Mile Pie - if you have friends who will help you eat it. Cool history wall with an image to John Dillinger and the owner’s family history during prohibition.

Great burgers and amazing patio in Lincoln Park! I brought my baby and there was plenty of room for the stroller and the music wasn't too loud. I was able to substitute the burger patty with an impossible patty to make it vegetarian. The fries were a little salty but were still delicious. I would definitely go back again.
