I had the Breakfast burrito, with bacon and coffee. Very nice quiet breakfast spot.

Jaw droppingly good. Take your friends here. The sandwiches are great and the portions are huge. The deserts are delish to eat and look at. One of my favorite restaurants on Broadway

We were really looking forward to dining at The Bagel on Broadway, especially since we have such fond memories of the original location in Old Orchard. Unfortunately, this visit was deeply disappointing.
Cleanliness was a major issue. The floor was sticky and dirty, and there were numerous fruit flies hovering around our table. The red panels along the walls were visibly covered with flies just sitting there. It was truly off-putting. The fountain drinks, which cost $12, tasted like mold and were not comped. When we mentioned the flies to our server, he acknowledged the problem and said the staff had already brought it to the owners' attention, making it all the more frustrating that nothing had been done to resolve it.
It’s hard to fairly assess the food (matzo ball soup, corned beef sandwich, potato pancakes, and brisket sandwich) because most of it went untouched. The unsanitary environment completely killed our appetites.
Although the restaurant did comp the chicken livers, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall unpleasant and unsanitary experience. Our final bill was still $70, including a 20% tip, as our server was not at fault. Unfortunately, it felt like a complete waste of money. Sadly, this visit didn’t come close to living up to the nostalgic expectations we had hoped for.

Incredibly small portions for the pastrami, def not coming back
Geraldo is a veteran server who knew the menu inside and out and delivered our order perfectly and with surgical precision. This guy and the whole team are basically the Seal Team Six of servers. Will definitely be coming back

I’m a regular from New York, and this place feels like home. The staff is kind and on it all the time, and they have the best Nova Lox I have ever had!

I used to love this place when I lived in the neighborhood. Then, I visited a few years ago, and still loved it. Today? Meh. Things have changed, unfortunately. The bagels and soups are still good but the salads are basically iceberg lettuce and the omelettes are greasy and somewhat burned. Not tasty at all. They got my order wrong and it took a long time to grab our server, who was cordial but detached. The whole experience was kind of disappointing and sad.

Delicious!
One of my favorite diners in Chicago. This is the closest I've found to a NY style Jewish deli, sandwiches are ample and taste great. Service is consistent.
This was the worst bagel I’ve ever had in my entire life. You would think after paying $17 for a bagel, it would be at least edible… The staff asked me twice if I wanted red onion, tomato and chives and I said yes both times and did not receive any toppings on my bagel. The salmon was disgusting. So thick and chewy. I could not even swallow it. The bagel was not toasted. Not to mention the staff helping me could not understand me speaking English. I will never come back here it was the grossest experience I’ve ever had.
For good food. That's the place to go...
