First time in Chicago and came here early Friday night for some good tacos and beer, hopefully dj or live music. It was walking distance from our hotel in an area with lots of food and bar options.
The bar was full with all empty side tables, the patrons and bartender stopped their friendly conversation and all turned to watch us when we entered, immediately felt unwelcome. No music or radio playing and very dimly lit.
We chose a table and had to look at Google for their menu as we were not offered service. My husband went to the bar to place orders and was loudly, politely told the tap wasn't functioning, bartender was suddenly very stiff.
While it may be an older neighborhood bar, we are also a mixed race couple and absolutely feel that was a factor in our unpleasant experience. Needless to say, didn't get to try the food. We found excellent tacos, drinks, and service(!!) at Mimi's instead.

Very unprofessional establishment, my mom decorated a party here, the party was suppose to END at 730pm. The owner rushed Everyone out and PUT THE DECORATION COMPANY AND ALL OF THEIR THINGS ON THE SIDEWALK AT 7, Stating she had to clean for another event at 8. Why would you book a second event so close in time, BASICALLY CUTTING TIME FROM THE EVENT BEFORE. I wouldn’t recommend anyone booking an event here as they obviously know nothing about booking (TIME MANAGEMENT)

TIONNA!!! The bartender was cute and nice and could mix up for drinks. The place was a little slow on the night we went. But I would definitely be back to see her!! I was a little nervous at front with the heavy security, which means that the crowd base is sometimes younger, with me being over 40. I would like to see more events for our age group

I attended at this place on Sunday, May 12,2024 for a party. The waiter was taking forever taking orders (he’s the only one there to take orders) but they do have a kiosk there as well which you will think is awesome. But I ordered 3 tacos chicken and beef. When I received my food it was extremely spicy. I don’t eat Spicy food at all. So I was extremely upset. I spoke to the waiter he stated the meat is already spicy and it’s nothing he can do about it. Arguing with him, the owner and the kitchen owner about my food. No one could accommodate me with something else. At that point of arguing with everyone I asked for a refund. So get this! The people in the kitchen make and do what they want with the food because on their menus it states no refunds. So this is ridiculous.The owner needs to hire another kitchen owner because he’s rude, money hungry, never there and racist. I honestly think the owner don’t care. Please don’t waste your time and money going here. It’s crazy it be our own people. Also the bartenders don’t know how to make drinks. The kitchen owner also stated he s was MONEY Hungry and don’t care about customers just his business and money.
