Unable to gauge food as we did not eat there. Good spot for drinks and to hang out. Not much liveliness however. It seems more like a spot where you start and go somewhere else not a spot where I would hang out all night.
Excellent ambience and fun menu. Seems that they opted to understaff the room, however. Our poor waitress was covering the entire place, but she did her best to cover everyone. There was also an unfortunate fridge malfunction that denied us our desired cheese board. Lots of potential, but regrettably unrealized.
The cocktails were well crafted and enjoyable, with thoughtful flavors and an elevated approach to mixology. We really appreciated the quality of the drinks!
We expected a more attentive level of service. A bit more care and engagement would really help match the experience to the price point.
Overall, a solid cocktail bar with great drinks and good ambience!

The Berkshire Room at the Acme Hotel has a great vibe — nice atmosphere and good music, although the playlist could be a bit more varied. Excellent service throughout the night. The cocktails are good, some of them a little out there in terms of flavors, but overall solid. They also have good premium champagne options. I had their take on an Old Fashioned, and it was really good.

Being honest: my partner and I brought our families here. extremely rude bartender, who had no interest in offering my sober father any of the NA beers that were clearly on display in the bar fridge. Mondays are slow but it was a huge drag to see such rude service in such a nice hotel. Rough shit on my dad’s birthday. We do this for a living, my dad included, it is hard, but it was an extremely dismissive and frankly unprofessional service.

Cocktails were quite boring and not fancy at all, no food available, architecture is a strange mixture of different styles
This was a nice chill bar with no loud music, great vibe, service was a little slow, drinks were good. My favorite drink I had was the golden hour.

I have been here many times and have had a great time! This time however the service was awful. We were seated right away but waited 25+ min for someone to even come to our table and then another 30 mins for 2 cocktails. There was only one bartender but there were no more than 15 people in the entire restaurant and they all already had drinks. Considering that the one server there was up talking with the host the entire time, we should not have had to wait that long for service. Will not be going back.
Drinks are very mediocre, lots of ingredients that largely fail to come though in the cocktail. Less is sometimes more. Tried 3 different options most were underwhelming. For the price there are much better options within a few blocks. Nice atmosphere though…

The Bershire Room was one of my favorite bars in Chicago. If you like sophisticated, custom made cocktails with a tasteful, classic decor, you’ll love this place! We tried the dealers choice where you choose your type of alcohol and characteristics, it’s such a unique bar menu choice! The server was friendly and spot on, the hosts were sophisticated and professional and the bar is truly special. I’ll be back!!!

Service was abysmal. We waited for about 20 minutes before someone came by to take an order or offer waters and another 15 minutes before we got our drinks. The cocktails were quite average for the price and no effort was made towards any kind of presentation.
Only saving grace was the doorkeeper/bouncer who was very welcoming.
