I’m new to the neighborhood and absolutely love the vibe of Boozehound. It’s exactly what you want - local, great menu, good prices and a dartboard in the back. Very unfortunately, however, there is a regular at this bar who told a member of my group that he hates gay people, and he hates black people (he used the N word to say this). We had both types of people in our group. I hesitate to reduce what would be a glowing review due to a customer, but I do not feel safe or interested in going somewhere where an attitude like this can be comfortably expressed.

Everyone in this place is super friendly. I've never been to a more welcoming bar in my life. Everybody asks your name and engages in convos. The dogs inside are just the cherry on top. 3 dollar pbr. What a great dive.

This is not your typical neighborhood bar. You become family almost immediately. Between the staff and patrons - it’s Chef’s Kiss! Teressa, Kayla, Tommy, Nicole, Megan, and so on… I can’t recommend this place enough. The owners are incredible. I love this place!
