This is such a cool little place. Sir with your back to the street and after a Hamm’s or two ($3 for a tall boy!) you’d swear you were saddled up somewhere outside of Rhinelander. Freshly popped popcorn and some great profanity laced stories from the barkeep. Heaven on Pulaski.

Cute and cozy as can be and full of characters on a weekday night. The owner introduced himself to us since we were new faces at the bar. Had a lovely conversation with our bartender as well.
The bar is so cozy and feels like a step into a little lake house for the weekend. Wood siding, fish in the wall…. Delightful and will be back soon.

I was in Chicago several times last year with my friend.. he frequents the Cabin almost everytime he is in Chicago.. he is from Chicago and moved out here to savanna Illinois on the Mississippi river in 2018.. different times he always mentioned THE CABIN where he always went..one day he said go to Chicago with me.. I did.. he did his business then he took me to THE CABIN .. I loved it...the help was very friendly and efficient.. the patrons were fantastic.. very nice place and hope to get back there.. his name is MYLES ( and so glad he took me to one of his old stomping grounds ).. I will be back..

Humble, timber-laden bar on Pulaski with a back room available for smaller events. My brother and his wife had their joint bday party here (around 25 people) and the staff was really helpful and accommodating.

SITTING BY THE FIRE ?

LOVED the cabin and all the folks in there. Everyone had their own theory about the election. Very interesting. I hand wrestled a couple fellas at the bar and it got a lil heated. We made up and slammed some jaeger bombs ?

The bathroom was really really funny. I maybe took more time than was fair but I was really laughing.

THANKS ?

Doesn't follow posted hours. Arrived two hours before close with a locked door. I understand closing early on slow nights makes sense, but it also discourages repeat business and creates a cycle of early closing and low business and is usually a pattern of failing bars. Really wanted to grab a drink here, but probably won't be back since I can't trust the hours.

The Cabin is a delightful neighborhood bar, that’s a cut above in cleanliness and decor. Staff are friendly and safety-focused, and the regulars care about the space and its patrons as though it were a second home. The Cabin has created a real sense of Community. Highly
