The service here was top-notch. I would expect no less from a restaurant at a Ritz Carlton. The team was perfectly attentive and friendly. The food was...good but it lacked seasoning. Specifically salt. Everything needed some to get it to a good flavor. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked but my wife's pasta dish was a little overcooked. The sound level was a bit high but at the end of the day this is a restaurant in the lobby of an energetic hotel. Not the biggest deal as we were not expecting soft violins and candlelight ? Overall, it was a good meal but there are a lot of amazing restaurants in Chicago to try.

Really beautiful space for meetings out of the office grabbing a coffee. A bit of a limited menu, which is understandable, but makes up for it with a beautiful environment.

Parking: Valet parking is pretty much your only option

We have eaten at this restaurant often when staying at the Ritz. The service is always exceptional and the food is consistently good. From the pistachio lemon donut to the perfect quality of the fruit, well done.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Torali with family. The food was delightfully exquisite in combination with professional service. I highly recommend the Ritz Carlton adjacent to the John Hancock Tower and Water Tower Place.. Our family has dined here for lunch and dinner on many special occasions for over 25 years. Thank you so much.

Our birthday breakfast was nothing short of amazing! The hostesses was super friendly and welcoming. Our waiter, Robert, provided superb service by offering recommendations for drinks, menu options, and events in Chicago since we're visiting. He truly is the epitome of service excellence! We had omelets, Mimosa's hot chocolate and a side of bacon. The bacon was thick and crispy... cooked to perfection. As part of our birthday celebration, we were welcomed with sweets, a cute plush toy and pastries with candles to blow out. Everyone made our experience unforgettable.

We had a lovely dining experience on Wednesday at Torali inside of the Ritz Carlton. Our server, Albert, was superb and very personable. We truly enjoyed our food and cocktails and the hotel and restaurant are beautiful. It is located very close to the the building where the 360 Chicago experience is located, which we went to directly after. We saw the sunset and the looked down at the fireworks being set off at Navy Pier. It was a wonderful evening in downtown Chicago!

Meal was truly excellent! Carrot salad, seafood risotto, branzino paired with freshest greens, warm bread with similar to pesto spread but even better! Dessert selections were many. We had limoncello/bake with merengue and chocolate and caramel with red berries crunch - fantastic! Excellent wine menu. Our server, Chase was well versed about everything and spoke highly of the new menu which previewed just a few days before. Well done! And serious compliments to the Chef - such creativity! Thanks for a great meal!

It was OK. We love staying at the Ritz and it just wasn't quite up to Ritz standards. The food was pretty good, mildly creative. But at least it was creative! Our waiter was good there seemed to be no hostess and maybe they were a little short staffed?

Overall this restaurant has an excellent and welcoming ambiance in particular and it's very different from other restaurants. The decor was very appealing and elegant. The food was okay and not too crazy. A little expensive on drinks. I was very shocked by that.

The two pairings of the Torali Burgers with Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Chateau Petit Freylon, respectively, were superb. All in all, a lunch with a wonderful ambience and conscientious service. Thank you.

Wonderful brunch experience! Delicious food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. I'd start with dessert first as those far exceeded the quality and size of the appetizers and entrees.

We had a wonderful, delicious meal during Chicago Restaurant Week. We are locally from Chicago, and live on a tight budget. Restaurant Week provides an affordable way to enjoy fine dining. The staff was attentive and friendly and did not treat us any differently since we were ordering from the Restaurant Week menu. We enjoyed the experience fully and would go back for a special occasion.

I would like to give it 5 stars because the food and ambience deserves it. However, at $350 for two for dinner one expects flawless service. while there were no mix ups in orders or anything like that there were some gaps in service and at that price point service needs to be impeccable. We arrived at 430 for a 5 pm Christmas dinner reservation. We went to the bar across the lobby and had two excellent cocktails, an old fashioned and a manhattan. the drinks were 20 and 24 dollars but were well made and what one would expect at a 5 star Michigan Avenue hotel. We were seated promptly at 5 pm in a corner booth with plenty of room. We started the evening with the cheese board which one might think is expensive at $38 but well worth the cost with plenty of cheeses, grapes, fig jam, crackers and bread. We ordered a nice white Burgundy for $80, quite good and an excellent value. Next we had two appetizers, a Burrata cheese dish in a tomato sauce and the crab brushetta. Interesting but would pass next time. We then had the apple salad and lentil italian sausage soup. Both winners! For our entrees we had the lamb shank and the 12 oz sirloin. Both came with potatoes and vegetable. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. The only glitch in service came after the soup/salad course and the main course. Our main entrees took about 20 minutes to come out and our wine glasses were not refilled promptly. Our server was excellent but seemed a little stretched over too many tables. I know it was a holiday but the restaurant needed more help. I recommend it highly and will return, not on a holiday. I look forward to visiting in the summer for the outdoor patio.
