In town for business, went to The Capital Grille for a steak dinner. It was, oh, so much more! Ordered a cesar salad, new York steak, bone out. And the asparagus. The Cesar salad was delicious, with generous portions of shaved parmesean cheese. My steak ordered as medium rare, was absolutely perfect. The asparagus grilled with lemon wedge was a perfect complement. The dinner was perfect! I also ordered a Merlot wine by the glass, which was recommended by Blake, my server, who was excellent! She was so attentive and friendly! Almost all the wait staff stopped to ask if everything was okay and asked if I needed anything! The manager. Adam, also stopped and asked if everything was okay. The evening was perfect! I only wish my visit to Chicago was a more personal, elegant visit because this is where I would want to be! As if to show the elegance, I thought about having black napkins for guests wearing black. And then the manager, Adam, walked by with black napkins! Elegance is an exceptional quality. This should be a MUST for visitors who visit Chicago!

Just great steaks, great atmosphere with very attentive staff. The meat is cooked to perfection, the mac and cheese is top notch, it's pricey but you get a great meal and service. Every time it's very well cooked and presented. Just perfect!

The setting is great. We were there for lunch and found the range of options adequate. I enjoyed the clam chowder. We split a Ceasar salad which had too little dressing and thus, too subtle. Service brought more dressing on the side and it addressed out concern. We also split the tenderloin sliders and were delighted that they cooked each tenderloin to our specific wishes.

Hi there! My friends and I wanted to try a new restaurant for her and her husband's birthday. I had the surf and turf which consisted of steak and one lobster tail. The steak did not have any flavor. The lobster was chewy and dry, as well did not have flavor. The mashed potatos were good, but the lobster mac and cheese, we returned. Now the cheese cake was the highlight of my night. Prior to entering the restaurant, there was an upset African American women who yelled several times that the servers were being rude and nasty to her. Now we did not witness the altercation, but upon entering the establishment, the hosts were laughing and making jokes saying that she was "crazy". To hear employees speak negatively about guest in front of other guest is very unprofessional.

Visiting from out of town and heard about this place from a friend who lives here. Really glad I checked them out. If it’s still on the menu, you *must* try the porcini rubbed 15 year balsamic ribeye. Incredible. Probably the best ribeye I’ve ever had.And the service from Blanca Perez was second to none! Definitely paying them a visit next time I’m in town
