great spot when the staff acknowledges you. was served by a woman my first time who was awesome, but the last couple times that my roommate and i tried going while a male bartender was working, we were fully ignored for 15+ minutes (sitting in obvious spots at the bar) and decided to leave instead. we live very close and were excited to have a cute spot to hang out, but i doubt we'll be returning after the last two disappointments.

best bar in chicago - beautiful wood working and original ceiling. candles cast beautiful shadows against the walls and the attention to detail in the cocktails is so special for a dive bar. oh and the photo booth is great

Anyone who comes here is begging to get verbally abused by the “owner.” He’s just some random dude who yells at people on the front steps. Instigates fights. Bad news.
The whole “you can get your own glass of water at the sad area over there” is just petty. Particularly when you’re trying to avoid drinking peer pressure but still ready to tip extra

Great esthetic and good music but the bartender yesterday (3/8) at 7p was awful. He was inattentive, unkind and discourteous. Why pay the premium for a subpar experience. I wanted to like this place but sadly I left disappointed.
