best bar in chicago - beautiful wood working and original ceiling. candles cast beautiful shadows against the walls and the attention to detail in the cocktails is so special for a dive bar. oh and the photo booth is great

Great esthetic and good music but the bartender yesterday (3/8) at 7p was awful. He was inattentive, unkind and discourteous. Why pay the premium for a subpar experience. I wanted to like this place but sadly I left disappointed.

Great vibe off the beaten path. Cocktails were a tad sweet, but really enjoyed it all.
It took us over 30 minutes to get a drink, the bartender didn't even look at us, she kept walking past. One of my friends got so frustrated that he went to sit down and decided not to get a drink because it took too long.

The bartender couldn’t be worst at service on 12/20. It took her 40 mins to even acknowledge that I was at bar trying to order a drink. The bar was probably at 30-40% capacity and I have never experienced that kind of service in the area. Better go to web pub or even corner bar.
