It was cute little venture. It’s not terribly far from my Airbnb. You can definitely tell this is a cubs bar lol. I think my only complaint is there is no real order for the karaoke like I’m used to. While entertaining, it’s a little disheartening when you see the same ppl singing 4 songs back (I am typing this as it’s occurring) to your 2 you’ve sung over a span of 20 mins. I guess I’ll have to exploit the lack of order for my benefit.
Another thing is the sign up was turned off Around 12:45. That in itself is fine but it goes back to my original complaint about the same ppl singing multiple times bc now sign ups are cut off.
I am unsure how I feel about the karaoke aspect (I’ll give it another try either tomorrow or sometime this week) but the bar aspect was fun. Friendly people and Julian was a great bartender. Very sweet and a great singer.
The karaoke Aspect was 2 stars but the bar experience was 5 so I’ll give it 4 for now.

This is the best karaoke place in the city! The staff are all unbelievably welcoming and are MCs as much as they are bartenders! Come here instead of Trader Todd’s! This is the spot!

I took one look at that place and I thought to myself this ain’t it this ain’t got enough energy at all this place is dead
I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. My group included my boyfriend, my sister, and her girlfriend. While my sister and her girlfriend were dancing, a security guard approached our table and attempted to remove their drinks. When my sister clarified that the drinks were ours, the guard responded with unnecessary hostility, telling her not to “get snippy” and later threatening to kick her out. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to leave. As my boyfriend and I exited, both security guards were polite and wished us a good night. However, when my sister and her girlfriend left moments later, the same guard aggressively told them to “get out” and even followed them outside, shouting threats about banning them. The stark difference in how my sister and her girlfriend were treated compared to my boyfriend and me makes me believe this was rooted in discrimination. No one should feel unwelcome or uncomfortable simply for being themselves. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures that all patrons are treated with respect, regardless of who they are.
Came heee for Halloween. This is hands down the best bar I’ve ever been to. When they switched up to a chareokee bar midway through it was sweet
This place has a singing barman. I mean, what is there else to say. If you want to try drink and enjoy an evening in an american pub, this is a place to visit.
Came here with my friends after the cubs game and it was great vibes all night! We did karaoke and shots (the key lime pie shots were great)! The bartender was the sweetest and she’s a great singer 😊

Went here before the Pearl Jam show on August 29th, and have to say I was pleasantly surprised by pretty much everything. Service was super friendly, ice cold beer, food (while limited to mostly fried food) was hot and fresh. Vibe was also very cool. Would absolutely come back.

Solid bar with a chill vibe. One of the spots that makes karaoke fun and welcoming instead of awkward. Highly reccomend, especially for a group.
