Wow, I've been a skillet nut my whole life and have tried many at different restaurants in my 67 years. But I can honestly and unequivocally say that the carnitas skillet here was the best skillet I have ever had. Perfectly cooked pork, amazing seasoned potatoes and just the right amount of pepper heat. Get it with tortillas and make tacos, but that's this old Mexican's humble opinion.

The food is delicious, it was our first time there. The menu selection was great. My mom, my two sisters had the Chilaquiles and I had the Grilled Chicken with Mango Panini. Both were delicious. We will definitely go back.

WAY OVERPRICED for food that’s bland. I can’t say it’s nasty but definitely not good. My husband and daughter ordered a full breakfast and I ordered soup, 3 soft drinks and it came out to over $80! Insane! This on top of the nonchalant attitude from the waitress make me NEVER want to return. Definitely go here if you like overpriced bland food. I’m super disappointed.

Food is delicious but service is not good at all. I went in a while ago and we sat there waiting a long time before anyone came to take our order. When we were done no one came to give us our check so eventually we walked to the front to pay without our receipt. I love the food so recently we decided to give it another chance. Again the server didn’t check up on us and in the end our check never came we look over and she was just standing behind the counter. Then I realized an 18% tip was included for our party of 4…. no wonder they don’t care about service they get a tip anyway . The cherry on top is the 3.5% card fee and price increase on anything with eggs. This place is a scam. Fee for everything.

This place has great food and good service. Having said that, I am pretty over the MANDATORY GRATUITY. No, you don't get to tell me how much money I leave specially when its a party of 4. Add on to that the credit card fee. I, the consumer, get to decide if I leave a tip or not and what the amount should be. Plus there is no signage indicating that the gratuity will be included if you eat there. Then, you can decide if you eat or not. Don't just show up with a bill with an additional $16+ added on it.

Visually it’s very appealing, very pretty. I don’t know how I feel about the tip being included. Our server was nice, but not very attentive. Our waters weren’t refilled and the ordering felt rushed. Our coffees weren’t refilled either. We kept having to flag her down. My son ordered over medium eggs and they were raw. I don’t know. I think my expects were too high.

Cracked egg is one of the worst restaurants that I have experienced in Chicago..the food was horrible and the service was worse. I felt as if I was not welcome..this was totally a waste of time and money.
