Inside looked beautiful. The food however wasn't the greatest. I got skillet with chorizo. Most of the potatoes were super burnt and inedible which was disappointing. The pancakes were super dry I almost choked. The waitress was supposed to bring syrup right after she set my plate down but didn't see her for a while. Also needed a refill on my drink and waitress took long. Wasn't very attentive. The place looked amazing but definitely wouldn't want to come...

I’m from Houston and visit Chicago for business often. I have made sure I visit The Cracked egg every time I go and visit Chicago. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional! I originally would come to Chicago and visit The Cracked egg for breakfast but you can visit this place anytime of day. I highly recommend the Poblano salsa chilaquiles, chicken fried chicken, skirt steak or pancakes. You wont be disappointed.

The food is delicious, the service is very good and friendly, highly recommended, and it's very family-friendly.
I ordered tomato llorar chilaquiles are spicy but delicious, my son ordered a creo milk shake.
