I write this review while being serenaded by throwback JayZ, mild chatter and dim lighting all after a long day at work.Somehow the vibe transitions me to the porch back in the South where I’m from.My only concern is why I am sitting in the dining area alone, if you are on a date tonight, you should absolutely be here.It’s the perfect place to get to know someone.Now… to the food.I started with a generous citrus cocktail, the The Mom Collin’s, momma didn’t disappoint. If the ingredient is listed on the menu, it is there in each sip.My precious deviled eggs. Absolutely delightful. You get your classic deviled egg then you get… that chicken on top caused me to close my eyes and take it in.The will probably be my go-to dish.The chicken wings boast the same delicious skin from the deviled eggs, drizzled with what seems to be a take on Chicagos original “mild sauce”. I don’t typically eat hot sauce — but I ate all 10 of these wings.Now— southern born, I eat baked mac and cheese but these jalapeño hinted loose Mac has made me a new fan. Look at the pic, you see that cheese pull. Baby that Mac and cheese is good. Burst with flavor with each bite.The Delta needs to be added to your “must try list”, I know I will be back again.*Especially on a Tuesday night (9pm) when the Dj shows up!- D’Reviewer ✨

In my opinion the food was trash. They served my family chicken and biscuit sandwiches that had clearly been refried at least twice. They had no jelly or jam for the biscuits since it was the only part of the sandwich that was edible. The waffles looked good but didn't taste good. I had to ask the waitress if my fries were sweet potato fries, they weren't! The fries were so damn dark. We came in for my daughter's birthday. Half of her table sent their food back. The other half didn't want to offend the cook. The food that they chose for a different meal was also trash. We spent over $250 for food that no one could eat. This is not a true southern restaurant in my opinion. Surely not the delta I visit when I go home to Mississippi. Seriously what kind of restaurant serves burgers and doesn't have ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. What cook doesn't know that a flat egg fried hard shouldn't have runny yolk. The waitress was not attentive to our needs. The gratuity was in my daughter's check so she got a tip from their table from that. I tipped her because I understand what it's like to be a waitress and not earn enough money to survive on. No one came to our tables to ask if they could rectify the situation or offer a discount on the bill, not that that would have made anything better. IJS, check on your customers! What I remember when leaving was, that's a lot of unfinished food on the table. My daughter and her friends had to eat at the food court in the mall because they were hungry. Apparently, the food at the food court was so much better than what they had at The Delta. The bar staff on the other hand was awesome. If anyone decides to go I highly recommend the bar only. I would never recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or family.

Vibes were great. DJ was dope, but however, the food wasn’t great. Everyone’s hash browns were super salty. They remade it and it was even saltier. They couldn’t remake my friend’s gumbo which also had the hashbrowns because they said it was premade. The waiter was amazing and very helpful.

We came in for their Happy Hour for Tamale Tuesday. Unfortunately, not a single tamale was available- which is surprising given their name. We were told it was due to the establishment trying something new the following day. This is quite unfair given we were dining there today as opposed to tomorrow. The options were non-existent if you wanted to participate in their own happy hour for tamale Tuesday. Whilst the food we ordered tasted good, the events left a bitter-sweet taste in terms of our dinning experience. As someone who eats out quite frequently, this is not a place I will not return to- as there is no guarantee I’ll ever get a tamale when I return. Additionally, there was a mandatory 18% service charge- given the waitress couldn’t inform us of no tamales being available prior to ordering (as in she took our order of the only tamale that was listed on their website as in stock). We were only informed when the food came out upon inquiry. This is very disappointing.
