I love coming here! Each time the food is consistently good and the customer service and DJ are always on point.
Delicious food located in the wonderful neighborhood of Logan Square. I got the French toast and it was the perfect amount of sweetness, though it was only one singular slice haha. Music was good, but a bit too loud and it was hard to tune into my friend’s conversations at times. In terms of payment options, the splitting system with the online QR code is confusing and some people ended paying way more than they needed to. I would recommend for someone to pay it at once and then split later.

It was truly a vibe from the moment I walked in with the excellent music selections. The food was delicious & the service was exceptional, which created a great atmosphere for me and my guest (who had not been to The Duplex before).
Great customer service! Over priced dinner menu with limited options. Way too much ice in bar drinks. I rate my experience a 6/10. If they had more variety of dinner/ after hours menu options and better drinks I would easily rate it a 10/10! The food I ordered which was not off the menu, was great! The server was funny, polite, and attentive! The music was great! There are minor issues but overall good spot!
I'm not sure why this restaurant requires a deposit. It was completely dead when we went. Make sure you have the wait staff credit your bill for the deposit. Our waitress did not and I had to call the next day to get it removed and was told it will take 7-10 business days. Food was average. Our waitress was super attentive but don't know if I'll go back.
I reserved and prepaid through OpenTable for a party of nine at 11 a.m. for Sunday brunch to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday. We arrived about ten minutes early and were greeted promptly by a pleasant maître d'. She confirmed my reservation and let me know that part of my group had already arrived and was seated at the bar. She also informed me that we could not be seated until one more member of our party arrived. While I understand this policy in general, I'd like to suggest that The Duplex consider how it applies to prepaid, large-party reservations. In order to secure the table, I paid a non-refundable price per plate. Since the restaurant is guaranteed payment regardless of whether five or nine people show up, it was disappointing that we still could not be seated. Unfortunately, this left a negative impression on what was meant to be our second visit to the establishment. To be clear, I recognize that the staff member was simply following the rules, which is why I chose to share this feedback through the appropriate channels afterward. Aside from the initial interaction, the service was good—especially considering the challenges of handling a large table. Sabrina was wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The food was delicious, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly for everyone at the table. With bottomless mimosas and a great DJ, it ultimately turned into a very enjoyable brunch at The Duplex. For those visiting, I highly recommend using the self-parking garage about a block and a half away.

The food was so incredibly good and fresh. The music however is so extremely loud that you can't really have a conversation but it is such a good vibe in there.
Everything was great! The food was delicious, the vibe was amazing, but the tables are too close together...
It was not very busy for a Thurs night but the worked the room like it was packed. She gave us just the right amount of attention and was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. The burger special was great. 12 bucks for a smashburger and $5 bourbon drinks. Nice! If we were in the neighborhood this would a weekly stop. The nice thing about the special is that the kitchen didnt treat like one. The burgers were fresh and juicy. Truffle fries weren't needed but then again why not I personally had an espresso martini and it did NOT disappoint. So good! Maybe best I have ever had. If I had one negative comment it would be with the asparagus I was trying to get in my veggies and ordered it but the pesto sauce was a distracting flavor and made the asparagus soggy. And the burrata didn't have any seasoning. But loved everything else. The music, the decor, the wall art. Everyhting was on point. My boyfriend was dancingin his seat and he never does that. So you all did all right. We will be back.
I have celebrated a brunch birthday party with my friends here. Although we had last minute notice to them that we will be a party of 11 they still have accommodated us. Service was phenomenal!! I highly recommend this place. The bottomless mimosa had us lit ! 🤭
