STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAD THAI.
I went to the Elephant because of its good Google reviews. Paid parking was available in front of the restaurant. I asked the lady at the cash register what had been recently cooked. She did not know and asked me if I wanted noodles or rice. I chose noodles and ordered Pad See Ewe, which tasted burned, as if it was cooked at a very high heat. I returned it, and they offered to make a new one.
The menu has nine lunch specials, but she didn’t mention them. It also has special combinations that were never brought up.
The newly cooked Pad See Ewe was better than the first, but the pasta still only mediocre in taste and the few pieces of chicken tasted old.
Can restaurants use fresh ingredients, take their time to cook them properly, and train their staff to sell their best dishes?
Terrible experience at the Elephant Thai Cuisine, but cute elephants on the walls.
I do not recommend this place, $24 for a meal that ends up in the garbage. Inedible.

This little diner/ carry out is the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite Thai food. The cashew chicken, WOW! Though there is plenty on the menu to pick from.
(Edamame, spring rolls, chicken satay ... our favorite appetizers)
Oh! and the owner, Ann she is so polite and friendly. If you live in the area, stop in

This is my favorite Thai place! Usually order to go but there are few tables inside and pretty nice atmosphere. Always nice and polite staff.
Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Fried Rice and Pad See Ew are my favorite choices there!
Strongly recommend!

Amazing food!!
Although the restaurant no longer offers table service, the food quality and quick matter in which the food comes out still makes this place 10/10. The food is consistently delicious and the mango sticky rice is the best around! Highly recommend

Just ate here with my parents and the atmosphere was very welcoming. They don’t offer dine in service at the moment - you have to order up front but you can sit down and eat. The staff was so kind, the entire restaurant was clean and food was amazing! We all ordered pad thai.

Excellent Thai food! This is a carry out space but they do have a few tables if you want to eat there. We had the Pad Woon Sen & the Pad See Ewe which were both excellent, and spring rolls & cucumber salad. Highly recommend this place for Thai food afficionados in the Saganash / Edgebrook / Lincolnwood area!
Great homemade Thai food and friendly owners. Always consistently good food!
Good food, clean, 15 minutes cooking time
I stopped here for a quick lunch. They were able to make my pad see ewe vegan by preparing it without oysters and eggs.
They have a handful of 2 and 4 top tables but they do not have servers, rather you order at the counter and you are welcome to eat there but it’s mostly a takeout place. They do not serve alcohol but they gave me a glass of water
Very over priced for take-out and the amount of meat and taste.
