Awesome bar and staff. Tons of TVs and cheap drinks. And most importantly, nobody will make you feel better than the bartender, Megg. She is such a sweetheart, highly recommend going in and saying

The bartender was incredibly rude. What a nightmare. No wonder there was hardly a person in the joint. Never be rude to those who walk through your doors. You never know who you're being rude to and as someone who relied heavily on my bartending wages to put me through school for my doctorate, I tip heavily and pay for everything I ask for. Including water, my friends drinks and drinks for the others in the bar and the staff if they can partake. Don't use this establishment. She should be fired.

Love this small neighborhood bar. Great staff, especially Megg. Pleasant to non- assholes. Bartenders put up with drunks and high people all the time. Megg is amazingly friendly.

I was sitting at the bar and saw the entire encounter that Shaeli W. inaccurately describes. She and her friend stumbled in. Friend went straight to the toilet. SW sat down in somebody else's seat and ordered water saying, "I've taken too many uppers to drink, but my friend may or may not want one." The bartender was polite to her. Friend comes out and wants an Amaretto cocktail. Bartender says politely, "We don't carry Amaretto, we're basically a shot and a beer place, but just down two blocks is Frank's. They're more a cocktail bar." Then the two suddenly get up and stumble out. The bartender was nothing but polite to them. I wouldn't have been.

Might be one of my new favorite bars in the neighborhood. Staff is great and they now have live music on Sunday Nights since football season is over.
Went to watch a US soccer game, waitress turned off the game and when we asked for it to be put back on she told us that we had to order a beer in order to get service. I am sober so was drinking soda and she was extremely rude, would not go back

This is getting four stars on the dive bar scale. This is a proper dive bar drinks, very cheap, and overall gritty vibe. Went for a Bears game and it was a lot of fun. It's not a spot I would consider really hanging out over the weekend but great for casual drinks to watch a sports game.
