I'm not a big college bar fan, but stopped in today to grab a bite due to curiosity. I had the spicy chicken wrap & tots which was decent! My boyfriend had the ribeye sandwich which was unfortunately quite fatty, but he was a fan of the appetizer ribs. Alicia was our server and bartender for the entire bar! And always kept a smile on her face & positive attitude, helping my boyfriend with food recs. Still not a fan of college ambiance but I'd come back to sit at the bar and try some more items!

With in an hour of eating here I became quite sick. Ruined my Sunday. Still having horrible stomach pain 6 hours later. I had questioned the sauce that was in the wrap. Couldn't get a straight answer. Seems it didn't make it's way on the side. I never send food back and I sure paid the price for not.

Came here to watch the bears game on Sunday. Such a good vibe. Perry was the server and took good care of us. French fries were really good, spinach artichoke dip was fire, and the mini cheeseburgers were decent. If you’re looking for a chill vibe check it out.

Was greeted by the women bartender and she definitely pointed me in the correct direction as far as the BBQ. I got the Rib appetizer. Came out within 10 min and was falling off the bone. Their sauce reminded me of a sweet A1 sauce. I will say the echo in there is loud. But I was by myself so I did’t have to talk over the loudness.

Mid/plus size blonde bartender was doing nothing but drinking. Took me 20 minutes to get a drink because she was busy getting her own order. Tipped 10% because im in the service industry even though she deserved 0% and she still made a scene and told me to leave her bar. Love the bar but as a fellow bartende, would never treat someone the way she acted. Drop her and love the bar.

From the moment I stepped into the highly respectable establishment that is Fireplace Inn, I was met with outstanding service and an upbeat attitude from their staff. Long have I searched the city for a place like this. It truly just has it all. A copious amount of TVs to watch sports, a superb patio to enjoy the summer weather, and the cleanest bar bathrooms I’ve ever seen. The trivia nights on Wednesdays really challenge your knowledge of various topics and there are new subjects every single week. I’m a sucker for the variety as opposed to one theme per week because everyone in your party will have something to offer. I’ve never had food at FPI that wasn’t flat out scrumptious. I highly recommend the rib sandwich made with their own barbecue sauce (thank god it’s back) and the spicy chicken wrap. Unreal. Lastly, if you haven’t had a Fireplace Inn Big A** Lemonade, this is the sign to do so. So refreshing and unequivocally does the job. Bravo. FPI is the type of place you fall in love with and tell all your friends about, and then they do the same after they come. The staff, atmosphere, food, and drinks just never miss. There’s a reason Fireplace Inn has been around so long. It’s simply the best to ever do it.
