Never had a bad experience at the Fish Keg. Reasonable prices, friendly but no-nonsense service, open late, been open forever.Vegetarian options: All they sell is fried fish and things to go with fried fish. This is not a place to go if you're vegetarian.Parking: They only offer take-out and the service is very fast. They have about 8 spaces and that's plenty.

Got the half chicken, but everything there is excellent. Make sure to go early, especially on Fridays during Lent!

I went here about two weeks ago and ordered about $100 worth of food. I ordered the walleye catfish, catfish nuggets, shrimp and perch with potato salad, fries and hush puppies. I was INCREDIBLE DISAPPOINTED by the seafood, didn’t really have much taste, lacking seasoning. Everything else was fine but will NEVER go back for the seafood. Potato salad was amazing tho I have to say!

Used to come here in my 20s, 30s, 40s 50s. Tried it in my 60s and it was not the quality nor variety of my past experiences. No more scallops on the menu. Shrimp quality was good but the batter coating was overcooked and lacked flavor. Pricey fir the quantity Premises needs reorganization and a refresh. Service was fast and courteous so I will try again because I remember what it once was.

The food is slightly expensive but it's very tasty.

Old school as it gets. They got RC Cola, which says all you need to know. The shrimp reminds me of childhood shrimp shacks in the city. I'm so glad joints like this hold it down.
