Drove by this place many times before I finally decided to stop in. Now it's my favorite place to go for a quick afternoon drink. Dogs are allowed as long as they're behaved. But it's always fun to be greeted at the door by a pup. My little guy Franklin is pictured.I usually stop by in the afternoon because they play Jeopardy with the sound on and the whole place plays along. The day bartenders, either Tom or Dimitri depending on the day, are both great and friendly...
Sometimes dogs are at the door to greet you. Alex is attentive and cool (Wed &Thurs) and everything is NOT overpriced ? other Roscoe Village places nearby.Meet neighborhood people, play some pool, play some tunes and watch some sports like a corner bar should be.
Other bars in town were standing room only for a game - the four treys not only had seating, but selflessly offered us food and conversation and made us feel right at home! Easily the best and most heartwarming service I've recieved in a long time, from anywhere!
