We sat on the patio with a view of Millennial Park. Service was attentive but not in a rush. Thanks Abigail. Food was prepared wonderfully and the portions were unexpectedly large. I definitely recommend the Croque Madame. You won’t walk away hungry. Atmosphere reminded me of a Parisian cafe.

Great place for a little dinner date. Food is always phenomenal and so as the drinks! Service can sometimes be a little slow but that means they are just busy! One recommendation would be to make the chips a bit crispier!

Stopped in while visiting sister from CA. Gerardo R recommend the brunch fluffy pancakes and they did not disappoint, split with a side a bacon and two drinks was perfect. Amazing service and atmosphere. No photo of food as we devoured it?

Filet mignon was hardly palatable, mixed drink was decent. Presentation was weak. Service was great, however it felt like they were trying to get you in and out as fast as possible.

We had an absolutely phenomenal happy hour at The Gage! It’s a great location from businesses and tourist locations with a great interior vibe. The staff truly delivered and you could tell they are extremely well versed in their wines and the menu. The food was excellent and we’ll absolutely be back.
We visited here after a rainy day Art Institute visit last Sunday. The food we had was good, solid tavern fare. But there was something off with the entire staff. Everyone seemed miserable. We sat at the bar where the vibe was especially dreadful. The bar tenders were in foul moods and seemed to hate each other. All 3 in our party picked up on it immediately. Who knows what it was but the staff projected an underlying problem.

Went there on a busy night with my friend and they were able to seat us! The food was very good and we wish we weren’t so full because we would have loved to try even more dishes. French onion soup was hot and cheesy and the Brussel sprout tartine was fantastic. The cauliflower gratin was a bit undercooked and needed salt.Service was good but not great. Pretty restraunt and comfortable atmosphere. I would like to sit at the bar or high top tables next time instead of a dining room table.
