This used to be a place I would frequent and is one of the only gay bars in rogers park. Unfortunately, the owner is a POS and frequently pays his staff late and treats them horribly. I stopped going once they were approved by the Alderwoman to host Pride North, a free community event. The owner put up signs collecting $10 entrance fee to the festival making it mandatory and not optional. It was very shady to rip off the community. Glenwood is a cool neighborhood bar with a friendly atmosphere and affordable drinks. The massive golden retriever, Tud, is a regular and very welcoming. The bartender, Mickey, is attentive and the Panini by Ian is a recommended menu item, though he was unable to prepare it due to illness. This cozy spot is a great place for a casual drink.
