Great spot for a Guinness right in the heart of Gas Lamp. They have plenty of TV’s to watch sports. Looking forward to watching Ireland in the World Cup there next year.

Stopped by The Globe Pub around 7 PM on a Friday for dinner and drinks. Started with the Scotch eggs and wings—both were solid choices. For the main, I had the fish and chips; the cod was perfectly battered and crispy. The atmosphere was lively, especially with the soccer match on the big screen. Service was friendly, and the beer selection is top-notch.

Had a delicious traditional English breakfast there Sunday morning. Service was great. Closest thing you will get to the real deal in Chicago.

Watching Club World Cup. What a blast. Great food and service. Lots of screens and they also had the Women’s Euro games in.

I was looking for a spot to watch some soccer finals games and this place came up among everything I could find!
Place was great to watch the game and the selection of drinks and food were great!
If you got a group id suggest getting in early to secure a table because it does fill up! Either way great spot to come have a brew and enjoy a sports game!

I visited here for the champion's league final and was expecting it to be busy but the place was packed to the brim and the atmosphere and vibe was great. They have an extensive beer menu with a bunch of options and some good apps and breakfast.

The Globe Pub is a go-to spot in North Center for catching a match and grabbing some hearty eats. Spent about $40 on the Shepherd's Pie and a pint of Guinness. The pie was comforting, with tender beef and creamy mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is lively, especially during soccer games, and the staff keeps things moving. Only downside: it can get pretty loud, making conversation a bit tough. Still, a solid choice for pub fare and sports fans alike.

You want to like this place. But the bartenders refuse to look at you. It must be a “European” thing. We were looking forward to the food, told the bartender we wanted to look at the menu and then never came back. And we sat at the bar and I finished my beer, in a glass, that was clearly empty. Went 15 minutes without a glance. The bar back finally said something but I just closed out. Did t get to try the food.

Update. They never put my CC with the receipt. Went back 30 minutes later and my wife’s empty beer can and the two empty beer cans from before were still there.
