I’ve been here many times now and really love the selection of cocktails and the atmosphere at the bar. I’ve spent five months in England earlier this year and this definitely has an authenitc pub feel. The customers are friendly! There isa game on and the staff takes care if you.
The staff are wonderful and It’s a great place to stop for a nosh or watch a game. I’ve also met some friends there and it was a comfortable place to chat.
I have to agree with some of the reviews on the menu, But the things I’ve ordered i’ve enjoyed I i hear they are working to improve the menu.

Atmosphere is very old world, reminds me of an oktoberfest tent. There was open space at the bar on a friday night. The bartender was very friendly and our drinks appeared immediately. Great liquor and beer selection. Excellent location right across from happy camper pizza.

One of the most disappointing restaurants I've been to in Chicago. My friend and I ordered a grilled cheese and a chicken sandwich. It took approximately 45 minutes for the food to come out - the food was cold and lacking in quality. I believe they were short staffed in the kitchen. I cannot speak to their bar service, but would discourage friends from going here to dine in

Really cool old school atmosphere here! The manager and workers were so so nice to me and patient and kind. The wings were pretty decent too! Pretty sure it was homemade blue cheese with them

We came across this gorgeous place on our first night in Chicago. What can I say … Naomi and Jacob were the most welcoming and so hospitable that we made it our regular throughout our stay. We met some lovely locals and perhaps stayed longer than we should have done!!!?? Definitely enjoyed a Duchess or two! We definitely left a bit of our heart in Chicago and we will definitely be back! Love this place! They carry the Around the Bend products- the best beer. Hopefully they’ll break out the Pistachio cream ale soon. Naomi the manager is great- super personable and makes the place feel welcoming. Also the fish and crips were great!
