This place has Schlitz on tap! That alone would have brought me, but it's got a good selection, friendly barkeeps, a decent jukebox and it's nice looking. Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I know where I can stop in.

If you have a chance to talk to Melani, the owner, you'll understand why; her dedication and passion are immediately evident, and help explain why the Green Lady is welcoming to long time regulars and new travelers alike. Make sure to stop by on Tuesdays for open mic night!
The bartender and space were fantastic with a wide variety of selections. We went during open mic night on a Tuesday, i had always thought that meant people go up there for a few songs but there was a person with a guitar playing and it was unfortunately very loud and went on for hours. There were pretty much only regularly there and they all seemed to understand. Also someone had to be carried out by a cop because they passed out with their dog. Overall it was a very odd experience.
