AJ and Joe (“Zew”?) took great care of my bestie and I when we came in before a show we were seeing at Thalia Hall across the street. We got there around 6 and were some of the only people there since it was so early in the evening, so we got to talk to the guys behind the bar. The vibe was very clearly the good kind of Chicago grunge and it felt cozy and cool at the same time. I only recently realized how much I enjoy bloody Mary’s, so I asked Zew if he could make me one....
Nice spot to drink a few beers. Mixed drinks a hit or miss ingredients for drink on lower end but prices are premium. Staff attentive. Washroom room looks like nightmare but is clean. TV normal size ok to watch sports. Parking horrible on weekends in this area in pilsen. CAUTION if you walk area is surrounded by REAL STREET GANGSTA!!!. catch an Uber
The bathrooms are the best. Toilet is always working and they have plenty of toilet paper.
