Big portions, food is decent but not great. I got a bowl with gyro and chicken, and the gyro was so overcooked it was crunchy. There are many better Mediterranean places in Chicago.

The guys were very nice. They have it advertised that they lamb!!!! Very disappointed to get there and it’s a no!! Anyone visiting the Windy City just know they don’t have lamb. I asked for beef but got chicken ! The rice was beautiful.I did not like it. Clean restrooms. Nice environment.

I expected more. The salad wasn't fresh and the chicken looked like it was made a long time ago. There are better options in the area.

The food was not fresh at all. The meat was basically minced and lettuce was all brown. Wasted my money

Really nice spot for a quick lunch. I got a sandwich with their sriracha honey falafel which was great. An entree and a drink is about $15.

Unfortunately it definitely doesn't live up to the gorgeous NYC counterpart. I lined up at the food truck and it was amazing.
On the other hand, I think the Chicago location definitely doesn't step up to the legacy. The ingredients aren't very fresh. But it's still good if you miss that taste of a good old bowl.

Used to love Halal Guys, but the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down.

The best place for food posing. I eat there and I went straight to the emergency room with my wife. I started throwing up so much. The gyro meat is expired and the tahini sauce is bad. They don't even know how to cook the gyro it's look like plastic. I feel shame to waste my time eating there. I have the doctor documents I will get with the health department and report them. I will shut them down. Unacceptable unacceptable unacceptable

The workers were nice but the food is less than ordinary and I feel I got food poisoning from the chicken was raw and less seasoned

The was by far the best food I've had in years. It was my first time there yesterday and the staff were great and friendly! You can sit and eat. The vibe is 10 out of 10. They give you really big portions! My back is going back today lol straight big back activity 😂
Grubhub gave me a full refund but that can’t stop me from posting this review cos it was so bad. Uncooked falafel, and chicken that didn’t taste like halal guys at all. When I picked up the food package , it smelled raw chicken ; should have decided to not eat at that moment. I might even get sick cos I ate some cos of the white sauce.
