The food is horrible, nothing near real Arabic food. The pita bread is soggy and tastes horrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

Enjoyed a fafal sandwich this past weekend. When staff asked me what sauce I asked him what did he recommend, and he suggested the white sauce. I must have looked apprehensive so he suggest I get it on the side. Glad I did, since the sauce was rich and very good, and it allowed me to decide how much to put on the sandwich. .
The food was good, tomatoes and onion, fresh. Friendly service. The atmosphere was dated and not great for staying long.
I volunteer in the downtown loop and try different places to eat. So when guests ask for lunch recommendation, I can offer suggestions.
On the way back to the Ogilvie Train station I noticed a new location on LaSalle street is going to be opened soon. I hope the new location has a brighter and more modern, cleaner interior.
For someone looking for a quick bite or takeout, I will recommend The Halal Guys.

Ordered a sandwich, and it was dripping with water. The sandwich fell apart in the first bite and the bread turned soggy in under 2 mins. Unfortunately explaining the problem to the staff lead to sarcastic remarks.

I order from here a lot, flavor is good and all. But the beef has been off lately — dried, crispy and crunchy, almost stale. Not ideal

Wasn’t very good, rice was crunchy and lumpy, meat was firm and I hate when it’s cut and sits in warming pan gets hard. I’d not go back.

The food was on point. Glad I chose the vegetarian gyro because it was seasoned well. The staff and even other patrons accommodated and helped me with my mobility challenges. I give it 4 stars with the environment because sometimes you feel welcomed by other patrons, but I didn't feel that vibe.

This was my first time having a gyro, my son’s as well. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL! The guy who made our food was so kind. I asked him to make mine the way he likes his because I had no idea what to order! Awesome vibe dining in! I’ll probably never be back in Chicago but I’m so glad I stopped here on our first night of vacation!

Big portions, food is decent but not great. I got a bowl with gyro and chicken, and the gyro was so overcooked it was crunchy. There are many better Mediterranean places in Chicago.

The guys were very nice. They have it advertised that they lamb!!!! Very disappointed to get there and it’s a no!! Anyone visiting the Windy City just know they don’t have lamb. I asked for beef but got chicken ! The rice was beautiful.I did not like it. Clean restrooms. Nice environment.
