Best PR food I’ve had in a while! We went twice in 2 days
Wow! Second time here and still beats all other places I’ve visited for PR food. So fresh and tasty! Well priced and generous portions. Will drive 2 hours away any day just ti eat here.

As a third generation Brooklyn native with Puerto Rican blood, I can honestly say this place is an absolute gem. I had the perníl (roasted pork) with maduro (sweet banana) arroz con habichuelas (rice and beans separate) with a side salad and it was so amazing I got another plate to go. My wife had the jibarito sandwich with roasted pork between 2 tostones (fried sweet bananas)and arroz con gondules (rice and pigeon peas) and it was also absolutely incredible. If you find yourself on the south side or even if you are within a 45 minute drive and want some authentic Puerto Rican cuisine I wouldn’t hesitate stopping here. It was absolutely delicious! We will be back!!!

The worst. They make you pay and ask for a tip First and if you want to round up lol. Before your seated. Or even get your food. I ordered rice and beans with chuletas. Totally didnt get no chuleta. My rice and beans were served to me in a french fry cardboard container. Wow. My rice was mogoyao. Mushy almost baby food texture. The beans omg. Insane to put ground beef in abichuelas and they serve it to you in a jello pudding sized cup.. No no nooo. The alcapurias and empanadas are freaking tiny a third the size of anywhere else. Freaking insane. The prices are crazy. To then get served a ice cream scoop of rice
So much sofrito used in the food. Gave me heart burn. Sorry but not every puertofican can cook or should open a Restaraunt. Never AGAIN. PERIOD

I order the cod fritter it was salty n oily than order 3 alcapuras not cooked all the way threw also to much maza instead of meat also no flavor, than we order chicken empanadas they were small again no flavor n this was a slow day. So disappointed. I was expecting a Good home cooked fritutas. I ended up throwing it away even my grandbaby kept saying no he don't want it. And that boy can eat. So their you go. This place I will never return also that was not temblec it shouldn't be hard it should of had a jiggle n that was absolutely a No! Waisted my funds n bad food. sometimes trying food ain't the best choice.
