Came here on a Friday night, and was greeted immediately but opted to sit at the bar instead of a table. Waited about 10 minutes before being greeted by the bartender. Ordered the wing platter to start. Comes in 3 different sauces. First, the wings/sauces are plated all together and SWIMMING in each sauce so they kind of get mixed together which is not pleasant and makes the presentation look messy. Second, the wings were like boiled? The softest wings I’ve ever had, if you’re big on texture like me, just avoid these all together. The bartender never returned to ask how the wings were or how we were doing but could be seen on FaceTime near the kitchen entrance. Unfortunately, after the wings/slow service, we opted to not get anything else. The male bartender picked up on our disappointment and offered us a round of drinks on the house which was nice of him. Lastly, the ventilation needs to be better. The entire restaurant was a bit smoky because of the grills or fryers maybe. We were here for only maybe an hour and left with our clothes smelling horrendous. Glad to have supported another black owned business here in the city, but will not be returning for another visit.

Jada’s customer service was top tier. She made sure I had everything I needed, answered all questions, and had an amazing amount of patience. I’ll be sure to ask for her when I come back.
