Fantastic hidden gem near Wrigley. Everything on the menu is delicious and made fresh in-house (including roasting their own coffee beans!). The staff is delightful and passionate about the food. Highly recommend!

Ordered the Arepa and was not disappointed! Very good flavor, sauce, and the french fries were great too. Service was very attentive and surprised us with an extra sauce to try with our sandwiches. Cute spot with some board games available if you want. Will definitely be back!

Went to The Lanzaga for dinner last night, and unfortunately, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The restaurant was quiet, with only two other tables occupied, so we got attentive service from a nice waiter.

We both ordered the skirt steak, which was very tender but lacked seasoning—definitely could have used more flavor. They were out of yams, which was disappointing since I’d been looking forward to trying them. Instead, we had the fried yuca and sweet plantains, which were tasty, and the ranch dipping sauce for the yuca was a nice touch.

The biggest downside was the price. The bill came to near $100 for two people, which seemed high, especially considering the lack of seasoning on the main course. The coffee, however, was excellent; maybe they shine more as a breakfast spot. I might come back for breakfast someday if they’re still around, but with several similar places offering better prices, I probably wouldn’t return for dinner.

People might say the crab Benedict is amazing, which it is, but the cachapa is where it’s at. It can’t be beat and I’m 100% going to get that everytime

Love this new Gem of a restaurant! We went for dinner and everyone ordered something different and I still cannot pick a favorite!

We started with the ceviche with tostones and a pork empanada (drool)! The ceviche transported me back to Belize!

For dinner I ordered the pork with squash and zucchini, omg so tender and the flavors just melted in your mouth! We also had the skirt steak that is marinated in their homemade chimichurri that is to die for. The coffee rubbed chicken so so tender and juicy, and the stuffed pepper was so delicious!

Save room for dessert!!!! We tried 4 of them!

Passion fruit cheesecake’s flavor profile was exactly what we needed! The bread pudding took me back to childhood, their flan was incredible, and their chocolate moose was the fan favorite!

It is BYOB for now! Cannot wait to try their breakfast/brunch menu! The brisket bagel is calling my name!

Visited today for the first time and had brunch. The coffee, food and service are more than good--they are stupendous! I like coffee but normally have to put in a ton of sugar to counteract the bitterness. They air roast the coffee beans in house--and there is no bitterness at all. I drank every drop of coffee without any sugar. So fabulous! The food was flavorful and unique, with something for everyone on the menu. And the service staff is is kind, warm and attentive without being annoying. We can't wait to go back! Thank you for a fantastic experience.

This is a very chic and comfortable bistro. The food is amazing! Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff is very attentive and genuinely nice. It’s like you’re having dinner with family.

Vegetarian options: There are a few options. A mushroom burger and a portobello dinner. There are also cheese arepas.

Food is delicious. They also serve good coffee roasted by their own. I enjoyed the south American special drink with espresso recommended by the owner.
