This place is awesome especially the bartender Lindsey. She knows her drinks and is very efficient. She was awesome. We will go there again and again. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👏🏼👏🏼
The Lodge is great! Lindsey....., go grab an open mic night at Second City and get famous!!!
Great dog friendly bar. No food but you can carry in.
Decent beer selection, solid cocktails, and attentive staff.
If you want a bar with a cozy vibe, this one easily fits the bill.
Security guard are the worst. If they seen u walking from the next door (Gold Coast) bar to their bar they will not let u in that racist.. this place suck anyway, They rude and not friendly at all
Became our local while on a 9 day visit to Chicago. Staff friendly and welcoming, locals the right side of crazy and a good selection of beers. Peanuts in the shell on the bar was the cherry on the cake. Hopefully we'll be back soon. Great place.
I’m a young professional that came to celebrate a fellow coworker’s end of year accomplishment party. Upon leaving the restroom, well after paying for cover and the price of a drink, I was promptly kicked out for wearing a backpack. Mind you, I came directly to this establishment from work with the rest of my colleagues. But somehow only myself, a Black male, was chosen out of the group to be escorted from the premises due to the ownership of said backpack. I promptly denied the nefarious nature of me having a backpack in the establishment, pointing to the various other backpacks I observed on individuals’ backs while being rudely escorted out of the establishment. I’ve never been kicked out of a bar or another establishment. Somehow this was my first experience, due to rude, unjust and power-hungry individuals that claim to run this place. I will never return here. No will I implore another individual who claims to be White to do the same. I wish that this evening never happening. But furthermore, I wish that this evening never. Happens to another individual due to unjust nature of those who claim to hold power.

The bar has been the same for years the atmosphere is laid back, the peanuts are fun and the service ok. The thing that got me is the mandatory double pour on well drinks? I ordered a vodka soda and the receipt said double I wonder if this is the norm to increase the bill? Therefore the drink was $16 bucks...... on top of a 4% service charge.... I don't mind spending money on drinks but I can go to a nicer establishment and spend that kind of money. Worth a visit if you are into dive bars other than that there are better places around.
