I bought a cappuccino today, yes, I paid 10 dollars, what do you think, there was no coffee in it, there was only milk.the owner saves coffee.
I happened to visit this coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious, and I will definitely come back.

A spacious & modern café with plenty of seating and a laid back vibe. I got a latte that was simple and smooth. A good spot to unwind or get some work done.

This is a go to stop wherever I venture into Chicago early in the morning. The coffee is always excellent and the customer service can't be beat!

Service was quick and the coffee and muffin I got were good. A little over priced but nothing outrageous. I docked a star because of the cleanliness of the place. There was trash, a dead fly and a spiderweb hanging over the table where I sat. Made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Instead of standing around chatting staff should be cleaning after every guest. Yuck.

Stepping into The Lost Hours is like discovering a quiet corner where time feels less frantic. The lighting is soft, the decor artful yet inviting, and the hum of conversation hushed perfect for slowing down or deepening a conversation.
Their drip coffee is thoughtfully brewed smooth, earthy, and reflective of a place that takes its craft seriously. Pair it with a slice of banana bread or a light quiche, and you have a mini escape in the middle of the city.

Cute space with creative specials — the PB&J latte was spot on (but a bit pricey)
The Lost Hours is a charming little coffee shop in Edgewater with a cozy, handmade vibe and a menu that leans playful. I tried their monthly special, the PB&J latte (caramel, blackberry, and oat milk), and was genuinely surprised — it tasted exactly like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, in a weirdly delightful way.
Staff was friendly (though more chill than chatty), and the space is great for a quiet hangout or solo work session. My only real gripe? Over $8 for a 20oz latte felt a little steep — even for a specialty drink. Still, if you’re into unique flavor combos and a mellow vibe, it’s worth checking out.

This place is cute. Staff is cordial but not overly-friendly. They did not have any hand sanitizer out even though you have to touch a touch screen to pay. The had a restroom I could wash my hands in. They had a good poppy seed muffin, but I wish they had more breakfast selections.

Went in for a coffee to go.
Mocha was lovely and so was the cold brew. Mocha had a great milky texture and the beans used complimented the chocolate flavour.
Cold brew had a lovely smoothness and a bean the complimented such. The roast used had a nice dark chocolate flavour as well.
