I was very disappointed to see a 3% charge added to my bill “to support the kitchen staff.” It is not the patron’s responsibility to pay the restaurant’s employees — that is 100% the owner’s responsibility. If the staff need higher wages, the restaurant should adjust menu prices accordingly, rather than surprising guests with hidden fees. When I tell the waiter to remove the fee, their attitude changes and you can tell they are upset. Our waiter was arguing with me
This practice feels misleading and unfair to customers, and it left a negative impression on what could have been an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. Transparency and proper staff compensation should come from management, not from tacked-on surcharges.

Just an Amazing dinner at The Loyalist! It was a very special Anniversary for us and the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish! Alec was our waiter, attentive, friendly and fabulous. The food was incredible. Innovate and fresh. Easily one of the best dining experiences we have had anywhere!

The burgers were amazing. Ordered both of them and neither disappointed, worth the hype. The smash was my preference. The fries were bad, not even ok but straight up bad. We also got the simpler salad and it was perfect with the burgers! Highly recommend!

The cocktails are well crafted, boozy, memorable. The Toxic Avenger was my personal favorite on this visit, but after trying a lot of their house cocktails, they don't miss.

The burger is the popular item here and it doesn't disappoint. The onion and pickle are core for any burger and the pickle crunch is so satisfying. The fries were crisp and delicious. It's a great burger, but don't sleep on the other items on the menu. You might walk away enjoying those more than the OG.

We’re visiting from Toronto on a little food tour and were told we had to try the burger at The Loyalist—wow, it did not disappoint. Hands down a 10/10. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked… honestly one of the best burgers we’ve ever had. The cocktails were also incredible—balanced, creative, and just the right kick.
Huge shoutout to Allison, our waitress—she was super nice, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The vibe was great, the service was warm and welcoming, and everything lived up to the hype. Definitely worth the stop!
