The Lunchroom at SPACE 519

We found this recommendation through the NY Times, and I'm so glad we went! Despite the busy lunch hour, the staff accommodated us. They were so friendly and attentive, even providing us with directions to use the metra and find a museum we wanted to see. My salad and matcha latte were absolutely delicious. I could tell they use high quality ingredients. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond!

The Lunchroom is amazing space that welcomes you to a very nice experience. I went for brunch/lunch, and I spent a great tine there. Food is really good, and personnel is extremely good. Highly recommended!

The best Apple pie I’ve had in the city! A family recipe. We had the Cantonese chicken salad, avocado toast and grilled Brie with apple butter sandwich. Our server Drew was amazing - highly recommend!

I didn’t have a single complaint while I ate. Typically this environment would be what I call, “Not my scene.” Regardless, the food, service, and aesthetic were very pleasing. I appreciate intention and dedication. Clearly these qualities are present in the owner/manager of this fine establishment. Everyone ought to try it at least once, I’ll wager most will return.

AMAZING food (get the eggs south by southwest and the bakery board), amazing cappuccino, turmeric chai latte with strong turmeric flavor, AMAZING service by Drew! Great, nice, exceptionally helpful, polite, timely, and friendly!
