Got take out. No silverware. Would get better fries at McDonalds. Couldn’t even give me a full order.
Food: 1
Service: 1
WARNING! Don't go here! We we're threatened by security. All we did was have a smoke outside. The fat security guard threatened both me and my girlfriend. Taunting us as we left with his posse behind him, real tough. When we called the police we were also told there has been shooting here. Management is awful.

I loved the food and the service. Awesome!!
As others have noted, this is a solid budget pick in an unremarkable but convenient Chicago neighborhood. Having the lake so close was nice, and there are some restaurants to grab a quick bite if you're hungry after a day of sightseeing or work. Buses go up and down Michigan Ave and make getting to other parts of the city easy. Only flag: Northwestern's ER is a block away. Sometimes at night a siren woke me up, but my room was on the street side, so that's not a surprise. Breakfast is good, cleaning staff are excellent. Beds comfy.
Great location and stay. Really close to shopping, restaurants and Navy pier. Getting to Shedd and other museums was a short Uber ride. Breakfast was typical and the staff was kind and quick to fill anything that was running low. Beds are comfortable and a great selection of pillows! We chose to park ourselves at a garage one block away for a hotel discount. Only 14 rooms per floor so the halls stayed quiet at night. Would stay here again
This was the second time I stayed at the Fairfield Inn. Prior to this was October 1, 2021. We received the Northwestern Hospital discount. This stay was to be only one night but our patient, due to medical issues was day by day extension. The Fairmont Inn worked with us each night as we were staying day by day and the Memorial Holiday was extremely busy. I would like to review, once again, "CHARLES, " the Concierge who escorted us out the back door, down a small alley and across the street to the Northwestern Feinberg Hospital. Each time Charles stood in the alley securing out safety to the hospital. What a dear man, an employee who goes over and above to make sure we got over to the hospital safely. The October 1st, 2021 visit was again so touching with Charles holding our luggage after the checkout time. Our luggage was locked in a secure room until we arrived in front of the hotel with our patient. Immediately, Charles, came out with our luggage and tucked it in the back of our SUV. I can't say enough about this man's integrity, honor, and above and beyond attitude of his duties. I hope Charles gets my review and the review placed in his personnel portfolio. I also want to thank Rogherick who worked the front desk and Viviana Torres, Assistant General Manager, who each night made sure we had a room to stay. Our extended stay was 6 nights. Thank you. A great hotel in the most wonderful location for walking and transit. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts with Fannie and Javier “at the helm” were complete and the venue was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Everything is this room was comfortable and relatively clean. Nearest bus stop was about a quarter mile of a walk. It was easy to travel through Chicago from this room, and be able to come back here late at night and chill out after a busy day. Unfortunately, when I stayed here, it was approximately $99+fees for a night. The price seems to have jumped since then.
Best popcorn i ever had?

The process was seamless and the staff was amazing. From booking to checking out, we encountered friendly staff that went above and beyond our expectatons. Breakfast contained a large selection of options, from bacon to waffles. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were modern.
Rooms are super small only one chair to sit in which was the most uncomfortable chair I have ever sat in. Close to Northwestern hospital but certainly would never stay here again. Check in went fine parking offsite valet or park yourself. Usually Fairfield suites are much bigger
I booked this hotel at the last minute when I realized that I had forgotten to make a reservation for the hotel where I was about to attend a conference. The Fairfield is a block off of Michigan Avenue in the "Streeterville" neighborhood. Streeterville itself is pretty undistinguished as Chicago districts go. It is dominated by the likes of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the medical school and law school of the same. It has a smattering of restaurants, but is mostly residential, hotels and business. The hotel is clean and the staff is nice. The place is small with only a handful of rooms on each floor. The breakfast selection is decent with lots of space on the second floor. It's quiet, except for the occasional ambulance headed to Northwestern.
Location was excellent. Hotel in general felt very safe and very clean and kept up. My ONLY gripe was that there were a few small things in my room that were dirty, specifically a few crumbs in the trash can and some dirt around the windows. The beds were fine, nothing special. Overall would definitely stay again!
Chicago is definitely one of the more expensive cities to travel, and hotels there reflect the price premium. Finding a quality budget hotel is a challenge, but this Fairfield ticks most of the boxes. Located right outside the loop, and next to Mag Mile, the location is walking distance to almost everything. Navy pier, bars of river north, all the shopping. The hotel itself is very unassuming (not like the flashy EMC hotel next door, another Marriott property). Very small check in area, but friendly person and speedy check-in). Then you're on the elevator and whisked to your room. Rooms are spacious enough for Chicago, definitely enough for 2 people with a decent sized bathroom but don't expect to spend too much time in your room. Beds are comfortable enough, wi-fi works well, and you may have somewhat of a view. But yes, this is a budget hotel. Breakfast is decent, a good start to the day and it's free. Overall. Nothing to hate for the price.
