This is a cozy pub-style bar and our server was super nice, but the food was a terrible disappointment. Ended up here on a busy weekend for date night with my partner when we weren't able to get in anywhere else at the time we wanted. I guess the fact that they were the only place that had openings should have been a red flag. The fish and chips was the biggest hunk of flavorless fish I've ever seen. Usually F&C come as strips or more manageable pieces to get a balance of breading to fish, but not this one. If your only vegetarian dinner option is grilled cheese and tomato soup, you have got to do better than Campbell's and a soggy cheddar loaf. The sandwich itself was huge but lacked flavor and texture. Even the bread pudding was flavorless! Again, it was HUGE but I would have sworn something was wrong with my taste buds had my partner not said the same thing. Too bad because the vibes were there, but food was certainly not.

The Monkey’s Paw is a charming gastropub with a rustic, cozy vibe. The farm-to-table menu offers delicious American fare with fresh, high-quality ingredients that really elevate each dish. The space itself is beautifully designed with exposed brick, old library books, and distressed wood, giving it a warm, inviting feel. Whether you're there for a casual dinner or a special night out, the food and ambiance make it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a laid-back, unique setting!

A bro-y space. Good whiskey, decent steak, amazing Brussel sprouts, tasty burger, good cocktails. Service is fine.

Strong wine list and better than usual menu selections. Cozy atmosphere, but don't sit near the fireplace as the staff discard the used dishes nearby and it gets noisy. Half price wine bottles on Wednesdays.

The staff was great. We asked to be moved to the back room because the noise level made it hard to hear. It wasn’t a problem at all. We were all so comfortable. As the evening progressed we were able to squeeze in a round of bridge. Most enjoyable evening.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The food was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just as amazing – perfectly balanced and so delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Our server, Jen, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely made us feel cared for. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her warm personality truly added to the evening.

Really really enjoyed my visit at the monkeys paw! I was surprised at how upscale the food tasted, the alcohol selection was thoughtful, and the service was great. I’ve walked by 100x and I’ve always been curious, I’m so glad I decided to come for dinner. There is ample seating and the interior is cozy- I look forward to coming back in winter. Don’t skip on the dessert- the homemade brownie was delicious- had my boyfriend and I fighting with our spoons for the last bite.

Monkey's Paw Is my neighborhood bar and I love it. The bar and service team are always wonderful. We visit once a week and enjoy the burger, the fish and chips, the salads, the chicken pot pie, etc. Matt (the owner) does a great job rotating all of the beers on tap and he supports local breweries. We are lucky to live near such a good place. You should try it too.

Awesome neighborhood bar that is always above and beyond. Great bourbon selections and half price wine night is not to be missed. Order one of the best burgers in town and ask them for a schooner (beer). You'll be back!

Good food and a nice place. Our server either didn’t want to be there or was stoned out of his mind. Messed up every element of our order, took forever, and couldn’t care less.

Says open until 11pm and they refused to seat us at 9:30p. The door was open, there were other people sitting in the bar so not sure why they refused to seat us for a drink.
