Their corrugated pizza box is not the one they promote the one day actually sell you looks like something they picked up from the alley, their pizza sizes are actually way smaller then advertised for example their stadium Pizza is actually a football their football Pizza is actually a family size and so on and so on very very expensive.

My order was sent to the wrong address; however, the staff refused to compensate for their mistake..just sharing
This is by far the worst experience I’ve had ordering pizza. The pizza is not even that good for this level of incompetence to be tolerated. The first time I called when a human picked up she mumbled something inaudible and placed me on hold. I waited a full five mins on hold before hanging up. I started feeling uneasy and thought maybe I should just cook tonight. Tired I said I’ll call one more time if I can’t order I’ll cook. I waited 30 mins and called back. This time I could understand her as she said hold. A minute later another person picked up and took my order. I waited the 40 mins the driver calls and says he’s outside. I go downstairs to discover he is at the wrong address. When I call congress back to find out what’s going on the lady on the phone was extremely rude. I asked to speak to a manager to resolve my issues after she informed me it’s my fault they went to the wrong address and I would have to pay $6 extra dollars to come to the address I told them when I ordered with the now cold and old pizza. She refused to allow me to speak with a manager. I paid over the phone with my card why give the wrong address I’ve never lived on the street they went to. Never even heard of it. She just kept saying well I didn’t take your order. How does that information help the situation?!
The pizza is mediocre at best.
The service absolutely trash.
It’s not worth your time money or aggravation dealing with a rude unprofessional unpleasant person.
These delivery apps are overwhelming these cheap restaurants that don’t want to increase staff to deal with higher demand. The results are disgruntled employees with a bad attitudes. Which makes for a bad experience for the customers.
She needs a full attitude adjustment or a job that doesn’t require her to talk to customers. No customer service skills. No resolution or de-escalation skills. Things go wrong I get that. However part of her job is to make things right when that happens. Not make matters worse by being personally offended when questioned about an order like I’m trying to place blame. No I’m trying to get my food, why do you have an attitude, because your coworkers wrote the wrong address?
Customers don’t matter to them because they have more orders than they can cope with and it shows in the quality. In the long run though I think people will spend their hard earned money at an establishment that values their customers experience. These people don’t care at all and it shows. Never again.

Not the first time but unfortunately for the most part of every order I've placed, the people that answer the phone are soo rude. Sucks that a business holds on to people that don't know what they're doing and have attitudes answering phones.

Bring back the original giant mozzarella sticks! It’s a staple for congress I call at least once a month to ask if there back! The city needs them back!
I ordered 3 baby pizzas which come with sodas. I didn't recieve the sodas. Supposedly they gave the delivery driver the sodas but the driver says otherwise. I called and went in person. Is it so hard to either give me a refund or the sodas? I only ordered from here cause it's closer to home, pizza from further away is better AND I always get my order complete. The food is not the greatest anyways. Save your money, don't deal with a crappy establishment where they don't care about their customers!

The pizza is great here. I usually order for delivery. And I've been in Avid Congress Pizza person for decades since they were on Milwaukee Street. But I was disheartened to see that they're establishment are not wheelchair friendly. I called them to do a pickup order and was hoping that they can do curbside because I am unable to carry the food because I am in a wheelchair. They said they absolutely will not accommodate me whatsoever. Most other food establishments are very accommodating to persons with disabilities. Unfortunately the Congress Pizzeria on Grand Avenue is not. Please don't let my review sway you away from eating their great pizza. Just don't be in a wheelchair hoping that they will accommodate a pickup order. Congress Pizza, you have to do better.
