We stopped there today while waiting for a table at a near restaurant, since our kiddo saw candies. The lady who works behind the counter is amazing. So welcoming! She treated us with Turkich tea that we never tried before - it was absolutely delicious! Ginger lemon and eucaliptus tea will be perfect for cold winter evenings and when hit with the seasonal illness. We also took Halva which is very delicious and one of the rolled sweets with pistaccios. It's really hard to find good sweets in the USA (we are European) but this place has a great variety of really good treats that can be highly recommended to anyone.
It says it's open until 9, I arrived at 8:17 and it's closed! I was stuck in traffic for 47 minutes
Stopped here last night to get some nuts and the staff are so sweet! While we waited they served us tea and even gave us a plate of yummy candies to try. This place is a gem!
Everything is very stale and old
Honestly just avoid at all cost
Too expensive ,spent almost 50 dollars for some old nuts and old gummies that I had re hard as a rock
Make your trip to stores in south suburbs
Very mixed feelings and likely will never come again.
The lady who greeted me is one of the kindest people I have ever met in a store! She treated me very warmly and gave me two teas (pomegranate and lemon) as well as let me try as many samples as I wanted of the Turkish delights to see which one I wanted to buy. I ended up buying a pound of them, and also some baklava. Can’t say they were the best I ever imagined (or that my boyfriend who I shared the sweets with liked them at all… which is then a waste of my time….). She also kindly let me borrow a charger and a pen while I was there today to do a study meeting. I accidentally forgot to return the pen before leaving. My apologies!!!
On the downside they don’t have a public bathroom and in the end when I needed to use a bathroom she said they didn’t have basic necessities like hand soap or towels in there. I asked how she could wash her hands and was a little shocked by her reply… she said that they just sometimes went without soap, used dish soap up front, or used a nearby bathroom. Why the hell is there no soap in the bathroom!?!?! Sounds like a health hazard to me and I’m only going to eat the sweets I bought because I paid for them and didn’t get sick from eating the ones she gave me. Moreover I just took a few and gave the rest as a gift to our apartment custodian…!
She said she always washes her hands before handling food and I believe her but that statement is worrisome enough to write about. I hope that this issue gets amended. Everything was perfect till then. Also she had a very bad headache today so maybe she’s in a state of confusion?!?
Overall experience just makes me like Turkish delights and baklava a lot less from now on, and also very unlikely would ever go to Turkey since not sure I will enjoy the food there.
I live in the area and finally stopped in. The place is pristine with beautiful displays of treats and teas. The lady who helped me was so friendly and kind. She let me try some samples of tea and a few sweet bites. Everything was so delicious. I purchased a box full of assorted sweets and some delicious mint tea. They also have a lovely menu of coffee drinks. So glad I stopped in. Stop by if you can! Definitely great products and a truly lovely experience!
Very yummy chocolate!!
If you're looking for a place with excellent Turkish delight, tea, and a very friendly staff, look no further! This place ticks all the boxes for a delightful experience. The Turkish delight is fresh and flavorful, offering a variety of traditional and unique flavors. The tea is brewed to perfection, complementing the sweetness of the Turkish delight perfectly. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Overall, it's a wonderful spot to indulge in Turkish treats and enjoy genuine hospitality.
It's more of an experience than buying nuts! I really loved it!! The chocolates are to die for , we came all the way from Indiana, and i was so happy to do so !
Highly recommended ?
Very cute little shop with great tea. Lovely atmosphere.

So friendly, welcoming, and delicious! The chocolates are fantastic, and it’s such a wonderful calm environment.
Great service and excellent Turkish delights!
What a fantastic spot to get some delicious sweets. The selection is huge, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful with selection of treats.
I feel conflicted about this review. Pros: The place was fun to visit with a cute setup, they offered several samples, and the treats are unique for the area. Cons: the pricing and purchasing was difficult to understand and not posted clearly, it’s more expensive than expected ($32 for a small box, which was a between a 1-1.5 lb, of Turkish delight and $24.99/lb for chocolates). Worst of all, the pomegranate Turkish delight had a large rock in it… this of course makes the rest a lot less enjoyable. Trying to decide whether we would go back is a difficult decision. Hopefully the rock is a one-off and thankfully the person who got it did not break a tooth. But he said he definitely wouldn’t go back. Perhaps worth a shot with careful attention to price and while eating.
Hidden gem! This store is not just a store but a cafe. They serve traditional beverages in addition to standard coffee. The owner is a really sweet lady who is very helpful. The turkish delights they serve are very fresh and have american flavors.
