We had the pleasure of visiting the Omakase Room for our anniversary, and we were blown away. The service was genuine and kind. Our chefs were clearly passionate at their craft. The meal was superb, with generous servings of rare delicacies like uni, sturgeon roe, and black throat sea perch. And to my surprise---a selection of shou pu-erh tea on their beverage menu!

If there was a downside at all it was that the portions were TOO generous (is that even a downside??)....

Had the most incredible wine dinner and omakase tasting here. 18 courses of the most elevated sushi, flown fresh from Japan and Spain! Oh my! chef Kaze is a genius. Service is impeccable and friendly. Cocktails are off the chart. You need to take your date here to impress! @chicagopescetarian

I developed a soybean allergy, amongst many others, as a young adult. After a childhood of growing up on soybeans to say I was devastated was an understatement. I never thought I’d be able to enjoy an omakase experience let alone eat sushi again. I reached out to Omakase Room and Daniel emailed me within a day, immediately putting me at ease. They weren’t just OK with me bringing a bottle of coconut aminos, they’d be willing to supply it themselves and I wouldn’t have...
