I stopped at The Original Maxwell Street for a quick bite and it really delivered. The Maxwell Street Polish with fries was spot on—the sausage had a great snap, the grilled onions brought just the right sweetness, and the fries were hot and crispy. Service was fast, and the staff were welcoming without overdoing it. It’s definitely a no-frills kind of place, but that’s part of the charm, and you can feel the history behind it. A solid, affordable meal that makes you want to come back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city I live in Park Forest so every time I'm in the city I stop by they might try to give you a hard time if you ask to deep fry it they made me so mad I live to far to tell me no really unexceptionable
