Amazing experience! Caitlyn provided outstanding service! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. The breakfast food was just as impressive: fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. Excellent service paired with a great breakfast made this visit a 5-star experience. Highly recommend!

food: some of the best brunch i’ve had in the city so far, the pancakes were perfect, love the variety from sweet to savory that they nail. my meat lovers skillet ale hit the spot and portions are big enough to have leftovers

Small venue but REALLY GREAT breakfast food. Very friendly and fast service. I saw the staff deal with some rude customers in a very professional manner with smiles. We will visit again. When we visit Chicago.

Their service is warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful they never miss a beat and always make sure we have everything we need. It’s such a pleasure to be served by them each visit. Irvin, Wilson and the entire Pancake House family are always so welcoming and helpful. The service is A++ and the food is astounding. My fiancé and I always end up finishing all our Crispy Bacon, Pancakes and the Toasts with house made jelly ouuuu weee!

I went in to pick up my order. the Young lady at the front desk told me two minutes. two minutes, turned into 15 minutes. all of a sudden my meal was given away to someone else By accident.she supposed to read the names and check the person‘s phone when they pick up the order to make sure you’re giving out the accurate order. This was a careless mistake on the restaurant behalf. I’m very disappointed, it wasting my time and money and all I got was a I’m sorry

My family and I came to eat here this morning and got a table outside. We ended up having to ask for our food to go because wasps were swarming our table. We were right next to a wasp trap which had about 10 wasps. Before our food came there were 4 wasps on the table near the syrup and flying around our heads, then once our food came out they multiplied significantly. I was worried about them stinging my baby and also it was annoying to keep trying to avoid them. We sat at a park nearby and had our food which was very delicious (we got sourdough french toast, eggs and bacon, and buttermilk pancakes). I would just recommend sitting inside or be prepared to have wasps fly onto you/your food.

We ate breakfast here every morning we were in Chicago. It was sooooooooo good. Service was exceptional. I don’t know how they were able to consistently accommodate such large crowds but they were extremely efficient. The portions here are huge! You get your money’s worth and then some. I watched the manager work and he was simply amazing. Right there supporting his team with a great attitude!
