We got cookie ice cream sandwiches and were very underwhelmed. The cookies were too hard to eat as a sandwich. The ice cream quality was pretty good and seemed like they had good flavor options.
The signature cone is a nice mix. The ice cream isn't made in house and isn't super flavorful, but is still good. Compared to the top gelato places today, it is a bit of a relic. A beautiful and fun relic very much worth visiting. Go for the fun and enjoy decent ice cream.
It was pretty straightforward with ordering in store. I i I got the rainbow cone and the flavors taste great together! No wonder they've been in business for 95 years! They know what they're doing! This cone was MASSIVE lol I also like the idea of slicing the ice-cream instead of scooping.
